Pros & cons
The 50 MP main camera has optical stabilisation, while the 50 MP telephoto offers 3x optical zoom for sharper portraits and distant subjects. An 8 MP ultrawide adds flexibility for landscapes and group photos.
The 6500 mAh battery comfortably handles a full day of demanding use. Its 90 W charging is quick enough to make short top-ups useful.
The curved AMOLED display combines a smooth 120 Hz refresh rate with 5000-nit peak brightness. It remains easy to view outdoors and works well for video and everyday scrolling.
IP68 and IP69 protection provides uncommon resistance against water, dust and high-pressure splashes. That makes the phone better suited to travel and unpredictable weather.
Four Android version updates and six years of security updates make this a sensible phone to keep for several years. The extended security coverage is particularly useful for work and banking apps.
UFS 2.2 storage is slower than rivals use at this price, so large games, installations and file transfers can take longer. The 128 GB entry configuration also feels restrictive for frequent video recording.
The 1080x2392 screen is smooth and bright, but it is less detailed than the 1.5K displays common among close rivals. Fine text and high-resolution media do not look quite as crisp.
There is no wireless charging, so every recharge requires a cable. Video recording also tops out at 4K30 rather than the smoother 4K60 offered by stronger camera rivals.
