The ZuPick verdict

3.5out of 5

ConsiderBest at battery, weakest at value.

This is a battery-focused 5G phone with fast charging, a fluid screen, NFC and useful water resistance. Its low-resolution display, basic cameras and steep entry price prevent it from being an easy recommendation.

Based on specs, expert reviews and owner discussions.

Performance3.8

It scores about 528,000 on AnTuTu, providing solid speed for everyday apps and casual gaming. UFS 2.2 storage and 5G are welcome, though the 4 GB entry configuration leaves limited room for heavy multitasking.

Camera3.0

The 50 MP f/1.8 main camera has autofocus and should produce acceptable daylight photos. The lack of OIS limits low-light consistency, while the 5 MP front camera offers basic selfie detail.

Display2.9

The 120 Hz refresh rate and 1200-nit brightness deliver smooth movement and good outdoor visibility. However, the 720x1600 LCD looks noticeably softer than the Full HD screens common around this price.

Battery4.7

A 6500 mAh capacity delivers excellent endurance and should handle demanding days comfortably. The 44W charger can refill the large battery in about 73 minutes, making this the phone's strongest area.

Value1.8

The strong battery, 5G and NFC help, but ₹19,499 is expensive for a phone beginning with 4 GB RAM, 64 GB storage and an HD+ LCD. Buyers prioritising screen sharpness, cameras or memory can find more balanced alternatives.

Pros & cons

What’s good

Excellent battery endurance

The 6500 mAh battery should comfortably last through a full day of demanding use and can stretch into a second day. Its 44W charging is also quick for such a large battery.

Smooth bright display

The 120 Hz screen makes scrolling and animations feel fluid. Brightness reaches 1200 nits, helping the display remain readable outdoors.

Useful connectivity extras

5G provides access to faster mobile networks, while NFC enables convenient tap-based payments. IP65 protection adds reassurance against dust and splashes.

Responsive everyday performance

The MediaTek Dimensity 6300 handles social media, messaging and video smoothly. UFS 2.2 storage also keeps app installation and loading reasonably quick.

What’s not

Poor value at launch

At ₹19,499, the entry configuration offers just 4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage. Several compromises make the asking price difficult to justify.

Low-resolution LCD screen

The 720x1600 display is noticeably less sharp than Full HD alternatives, especially when reading small text or watching detailed video. It also lacks the stronger contrast of an AMOLED panel.

Basic camera hardware

The 50 MP main camera can capture usable daylight photos, but the tiny secondary camera adds little. Without OIS and with a 5 MP selfie camera, low-light photos and selfies are modest.
