The ZuPick verdict

4.1out of 5
Strong buyBest at performance, weakest at value.

This is a high-performance all-rounder with a standout screen, big battery and strong core camera setup. It earns its place with flagship-like speed and premium extras, even if the missing telephoto and top-end pricing stop it from feeling unbeatable.

Based on specs, expert reviews and owner discussions.
Performance4.8
It scores about 2.2 million on AnTuTu, which is among the fastest results in this range. Combined with 8 GB RAM and UFS 4.1 storage, it feels built for high-end gaming, fast installs and years of smooth everyday use.
Camera3.8
The 50 MP main camera with optical stabilisation and 4K60 video gives it a solid upper-mid camera foundation, while the 50 MP ultrawide is a real plus. What holds it back is the lack of a telephoto camera, which matters more at this price.
Display4.5
This is a strong screen for the money: AMOLED, 144 Hz refresh rate, 5200 nits peak brightness and a 1272x2772 resolution that looks sharper than standard Full HD rivals. It is bright, smooth and premium enough to satisfy demanding buyers.
Battery4.0
The 6500 mAh battery and 90W charging give it a strong battery setup on paper, and the 44 minute top-up is genuinely quick. Real-world endurance is comfortably all-day, though not the very best this class can deliver.
Value3.0
You are paying top-of-the-range money here, but the phone does bring standout performance, a premium display and a large battery to justify it. Value is decent rather than exceptional because the price leaves little room for compromise.

Pros & cons

What’s good
Top-tier raw performance

It scores about 2.2 million on AnTuTu, which is right near the top of what this price can buy. Heavy gaming, fast app switching and long multitasking sessions should feel effortless.

Excellent display hardware

The AMOLED panel, 144 Hz refresh rate and 5200 nits peak brightness make this a standout screen. The 1272x2772 resolution is sharper than the Full HD panels many rivals still use.

Big battery, fast charging

The 6500 mAh battery is comfortably above average for this class, and 90W charging keeps downtime short. It is built for long days of navigation, streaming and camera use.

Strong main camera setup

The 50 MP main camera with optical stabilisation should deliver steadier low-light shots and cleaner video. A 50 MP ultrawide is much better than the basic secondary cameras many rivals settle for.

Proper durability extras

IP68 and IP69 protection are meaningful upgrades at this price, not just checklist features. The slim 183 gram body also keeps the large phone from feeling overly bulky.

What’s not
No telephoto camera

This camera setup covers main and ultrawide well, but it lacks the zoom lens that separates stronger camera phones in this range. Distant subjects will rely on crop rather than true optical reach.

Price is at ceiling

At ₹39999, it sits right at the top of the bracket. That makes the overall package work harder on value, especially against rivals that undercut it with similar core hardware.

Battery life is good, not class-leading

A PCMark result of 14h 01m is solid for a powerful phone, but it does not fully exploit the advantage of such a large 6500 mAh battery. Some endurance-focused rivals stretch further.

What owners say

From Reddit

the thing that I was happy seeing tho is heat management. usually by this point in a phone's life (or even day 1 tbh) i've got a phone that's warm just from scrolling reddit too long lmao. this one stays cool even after a while of using it hard.

r/motorolau/pedrohemg

I bought one, used it for 14 days, and then returned it. The reason was because of the huge price drop just a week after I bought it. But, I have some negative things to highlight:

r/motorolau/pedrohemg

1 - The usability Motorola delivers isn't great. I came from Samsung and, for me, there's nothing better than One UI. That's why I bought a S26 Plus after returning the 70 Pro.

2 - The camera has a bug (I refuse to believe it's a feature) - You go to camera settings, set the front camera to high resolution then, when you close the app, it's back to the standard resolution.
