Yes — at ₹24,991 the vivo V40E 5G is a buy, scoring 3.7 out of 5 against other phones at this price. It is strongest on display and weakest on value for money. That is the lowest we have recorded for it.
The vivo V40E 5G gets the basics right and adds a few meaningful strengths, especially its display, charging speed and selfie camera. It is a sensible buy for people who want a stylish all-rounder more than a gaming-focused phone.

The 6.77-inch AMOLED display combines a curved design, Full HD+ sharpness and 120 Hz refresh rate. Peak brightness of 4500 nits also gives it a real edge for outdoor use.
The 5500 mAh battery is larger than what many rivals offer, and 80W charging is genuinely fast. A 20 to 100 percent top-up in 42 minutes makes daily charging easy.
It scores about 670,000 on AnTuTu, around the middle of what this price buys. Day-to-day use stays smooth, and it can handle casual to moderate gaming without trouble.
The 50 MP front camera stands out for this class and includes autofocus. It is a strong fit for video calls, selfies and social media content.
The 50 MP main camera gets OIS and 4K video recording, which helps it feel more dependable than basic spec-heavy setups. The ultra-wide camera adds flexibility for landscapes and group shots.
UFS 2.2 storage is serviceable, but app installs, large game loading and file transfers are not as quick as the better storage systems some rivals now offer.
The Dimensity 7300 is fine for everyday use, but this is not a standout gaming phone in its class. Heavier titles will need reduced settings for the best consistency.
NFC is still not common, but it is a useful extra for tap-to-pay and quick pairing. Its absence slightly reduces convenience versus better-equipped alternatives.
I've been using the Vivo V40E for a couple of weeks now, and I must say, the performance is outstanding! The Dimensity 7300 chipset really shines, providing a smooth experience whether I’m gaming or multitasking. It handles everything from heavy apps to casual browsing with ease.
I can see none. I have used Vivo's V series. It is much better and the UI is polished. Did not come across any bloatware. The V40E has good cameras, and a good screen with Dimensity 7300 which is a good chipset overall, and enough for most parents.
The Vivo V40E is powered by the Mediatek Dimensity 7300 chipset, which delivers impressive performance for multitasking and gaming. I bought phone 2 days ago , I clicked 100 photos till now and suddenly this one photo after clicking turned green. I took more photos in exact same position, they are normal. I just lost my shit after buying phone and it suddenly does this.
Vivo V40e’s Dimensity 7300 is a game changer for its price range. The 4nm chipset ensures great efficiency and performance, whether you're gaming or juggling multiple apps. Add in 5G support, 50MP cameras, and a 120Hz AMOLED display, and this phone is a solid buy under ₹26k.
The Vivo V40E's Dimensity 7300 chipset is a game-changer in this price range, offering smooth performance for daily tasks and gaming alike. The combination of this powerful processor with a superb AMOLED display makes for an engaging multimedia experience. Plus, with a robust 5500 mAh battery, you can easily get through a full day of use without needing to recharge frequently.
Loving my Vivo V40e powered by mediatek so far! The display quality is insane for a mid-range phone—6.77 inches, AMOLED, 120Hz refresh, and HDR10+. Media and games look amazing! The camera setup is also impressive, especially for selfies. Honestly, Vivo nailed it with this one in both style and performance!
I was excited when I got it, but now I'm not because Android 16 OS is not coming to Vivo V40e.

Our verdict is buy, 3.7 out of 5. It scores best on display and worst on value for money. Scores come from the specification sheet and today's price, judged against other phones at the same price.
Today's ₹24,991 is the lowest we have recorded in 36 days of tracking, so there is nothing to wait for on the evidence we have.
We score it 4.4 out of 5 for display. This is a strong screen for the money. The AMOLED panel, 120 Hz refresh rate and very high 4500 nits peak brightness make it vibrant, smooth and easy to use outdoors, while the 1080x2392 resolution keeps it sharp.
We score it 4.0 out of 5 for battery. Battery life is one of the phone’s better areas. The 5500 mAh cell is comfortably above the usual 5000 mAh mark, the tested endurance is solid at 15h 51m, and 80W charging is fast enough to cut down waiting time.
We score it 3.3 out of 5 for value for money. At ₹24991, it offers a balanced package rather than exceptional value. You are getting a very good display, fast charging, a larger battery and useful camera features, but performance and storage speed are more middle-of-the-pack.
Excellent curved AMOLED; Strong battery setup; Reliable everyday performance.
Storage feels dated; Performance is only average; No NFC support.
We score them level — 3.7 against 3.7. The OPPO K14 5G is ₹2,124 cheaper today.
We score them level — 3.7 against 3.8. The Motorola Edge 50 5G is ₹2,001 cheaper today.
For casual games, yes. We score it 3.4 out of 5 for performance — enough for everyday play, short of the phones people buy specifically to game on.
We score it 3.5 out of 5 for camera, judged against other phones at this price. The camera setup is fairly well-rounded. The 50 MP main camera with OIS and f/1.79 aperture should deliver steady daylight shots and more dependable low-light photos than basic rivals, while 4K video and a 50 MP selfie camera add versatility. The lack of a telephoto lens limits zoom quality.
At this price, the Redmi Note 13 5G — we score it 3.8 against the vivo V40E 5G's 3.7 at ₹26,999.
₹24,991 mein vivo V40E 5G ko hum buy rate karte hain (3.7/5). Iska sabse accha point display hai, aur sabse kamzor value for money.
