The ZuPick verdict

3.8out of 5

BuyBest at camera, weakest at value.

The Galaxy A15 5G stands out in this budget mainly for its excellent display, 5G support and long software support. It is not the cheapest option, but for buyers who want a phone that feels more polished day to day, it makes good sense.

Based on specs, expert reviews and owner discussions.

Performance4.3

This is a strong result for the price. 6 GB RAM helps with smoother multitasking, UFS storage keeps app loading reasonably quick, and 5G adds longer-term usefulness for buyers who plan to keep the phone for years.

Camera4.3

The camera setup is comfortably above basic for this budget. A 50 MP main camera with autofocus and a bright f/1.8 lens should do well in daylight, while 1080p video and a 13 MP selfie camera are good for everyday shooting.

Display4.2

This is one of the better screens you can get at this price. The FHD+ Super AMOLED panel looks sharp and vibrant, 90 Hz keeps everyday scrolling smoother, and 800 nits brightness helps with outdoor readability.

Battery3.4

The 5000 mAh battery is a dependable size for a full day of regular use. 25W charging is a nice plus here, so charging feels less slow than many budget phones, even if battery size itself is standard.

Value2.7

You are paying near the top of the budget, so this is not a cheap pick. Even so, the AMOLED screen, 5G support, solid camera basics and long software support help justify the price for the right buyer.

Pros & cons

What’s good

Excellent screen quality

The 6.5-inch Super AMOLED display, FHD+ resolution and 800 nits brightness make this screen a real standout at this price. Video looks sharper, colours look richer, and outdoor use is easier than on most basic LCD phones.

5G with smooth use

5G support and 6 GB RAM give it a more future-ready feel than many budget phones. Day-to-day use like calling, WhatsApp, browsing and light multitasking should stay comfortable.

Fast enough charging

The 5000 mAh battery is paired with 25W charging, which is better than the usual slow charging seen in this range. That makes top-ups less frustrating during busy days.

Good main camera basics

You get a 50 MP main camera with autofocus and a bright f/1.8 lens. In daylight, that gives it a solid base for clear photos, and the 13 MP front camera is useful for selfies and video calls.

Long software support

Samsung promises 4 years of Android updates and 5 years of security updates. For buyers who keep a phone for a long time, that adds real peace of mind.

What’s not

Price is at ceiling

At ₹9999, it sits right at the top of this budget. That means the value depends on whether you care about its better screen, 5G and software support more than just getting the lowest price.

90 Hz, not faster

The 90 Hz refresh rate helps scrolling feel smoother than a basic 60 Hz panel, but it is not the fastest available. Buyers focused mainly on extra-smooth motion may want more.

Video recording is basic

Rear and front video top out at Full HD at 30 fps. That is fine for casual clips and calls, but it is not ideal if you want smoother video capture.
