Absolutely no regrets, im in love with this phone, with the android system and the camera. I've had no issues texting my iPhone friends and I videochat using WhatsApp or fb messenger for those that wish to see my face lol.
I got the Z Flip 8 today in the new pink shade. It was the buying point for me, if I'm being honest. I did have the Flip 6 and it's never failed me. The foldable's have gotten better over the years since the 6 series released.
I just got my flip 8 yesterday. I am trading in my flip 7 for it. I wasn't planning on upgrading because there's not much of an improvement, but I couldn't resist the pink colour.
that crease is gonna drive you nuts after the pixel's flat screen, and the battery won't touch what you're used to
I had mine less than 48 hours and it broke- froze every 5 minutes even in safe mode and after a factory reset. Samsung admitted it was a motherboard and battery faulty unit but they immediately knew what phone I was calling about before I even went through security or gave an order number.
Folds and flips are notoriously more fragile. I've not dropped mine yet but I'd feel less confortable dropping this phone than a candybar phone. The hinge is always a topic on this subreddit, but I don't have a case with hinge protection
I'm still on my z flip 3! It actually works fine but the battery life is slowly going. I have to charge it twice a day. My main hesitation is the big cover screen, I wish it was kept small to give it a true flip phone feel. However I'm excited at the idea of getting the Z flip 8!
