The ZuPick verdict
This is a practical budget Samsung with long software support, a usable main camera and dependable battery life. But in a market where 5G and sharper displays are increasingly common, it gives up too much to stand out.

Pros & cons
Samsung is promising 6 years of OS and security updates, which is rare at this price. That gives the phone a much longer usable life than most budget options.
The 50 MP main camera with autofocus and an f/1.8 lens should do a good job in daylight. It is well suited to casual photos, documents and social media shots.
At 184 grams and 7.6 mm thick, it stays comfortable in hand for daily use. IP54 splash resistance and a side fingerprint sensor also add everyday convenience.
The 5000 mAh battery is enough for a full day of regular use. 25W charging is also reasonably convenient for topping up.
At ₹12447, missing 5G is a major drawback in this category. Many rivals now offer 5G as standard, so this phone feels less future-ready.
The 720x1600 screen is noticeably less sharp than Full HD rivals in this range. Text and video will look softer, especially on a 6.7-inch panel.
eMMC 5.1 storage is behind the UFS storage many competitors use. App installs, large file transfers and game loading will feel slower.
What owners say
From RedditThe A07 LTE is the lowest end Samsung phone. Considering its hardware, it's actually fairly decent. But compared to the Oppo A9, it may not be much different in day to day use.
But considering its price, it's not bad. I have the 64GB version as a testing device, and I find it usable. Just ensure apps like Facebook don't hog the notification, and try to uninstall as many unused apps as possible.
"Upgrading" from a 6 year old 100 dollar phone to 150 dollar new phone is not upgrade at all. It will literally have equally slow SOC. You are effectively buying a new battery and some extra years of support.
I have the same phone, only the 8GB variant. No issues for me, like its still smooth and doesnt lag where its not supposed to. I have tweaked some settings which may helped sustain performance.
yeah the whole jio4gvoice app thing was only for those old mediatek phones that didn’t have real volte support. any samsung from like 2016 onward handles it natively your a07 should work fine just pop the sim in and make sure volte is toggled on in settings, no extra app needed
