The ZuPick verdict

4.0out of 5

BuyBest at battery, weakest at camera.

The realme P4 5G is a well-balanced phone with standout battery life and a very good display. It makes the most sense for buyers who care more about endurance and everyday comfort than camera quality or top-tier gaming power.

Based on specs, expert reviews and owner discussions.

Performance4.0

With 8 GB RAM, UFS 3.1 storage and 5G, it should feel quick in everyday use and handle multitasking well. App launches and installs should stay snappy, though this does not look like the most aggressive gaming-focused setup at this price.

Camera2.5

The camera setup is serviceable rather than a reason to buy the phone. The 50 MP main camera and 4K video are useful, but the lack of optical stabilisation limits low-light reliability and steadier handheld footage.

Display4.6

This is a very strong screen for the money. The AMOLED panel, 144 Hz refresh rate, 1080x2392 resolution and 4500 nits peak brightness give you sharp visuals, smooth motion and excellent outdoor visibility.

Battery4.8

Battery performance is a major strength here. The 7000 mAh cell is among the biggest in this class, and 80W charging keeps such a large battery from feeling slow to refill.

Value3.6

It offers good value if battery life and display quality matter most to you. The price is not especially low for the segment, but the big battery, fast charging and strong screen help justify it.

Pros & cons

What’s good

Huge battery life

The 7000 mAh battery is a real standout in this price range. It is built for heavy daily use and can comfortably stretch beyond a full day.

Excellent display hardware

The AMOLED panel, 144 Hz refresh rate and very high 4500 nits peak brightness make this screen one of the stronger ones around this budget. It looks smooth, sharp and easy to read outdoors.

Fast 80W charging

80W charging is well above the usual mid-range standard. It cuts downtime nicely for such a large battery and makes top-ups practical.

Strong everyday package

UFS 3.1 storage, 5G support, stereo speakers and Wi-Fi 6 give it a well-rounded feel for daily use. The IP66 and IP65 protection also add peace of mind.

What’s not

Cameras lack stabilisation

The 50 MP main camera misses optical stabilisation, which hurts low-light shots and handheld video stability. You need steadier hands after sunset.

Performance is not class-leading

The Dimensity 7400 Ultra with up to 8 GB RAM should feel smooth in daily use, but this is a very competitive price range for gaming-focused phones. Buyers chasing the fastest raw performance may find stronger options.

No NFC support

NFC is still not common everywhere, but it is a useful extra for tap-to-pay and quick pairing. Missing it makes the feature list feel less complete.
