Is the vivo V30 Pro 5G worth buying at ₹38,991?
Yes — at ₹38,991 the vivo V30 Pro 5G is worth considering, scoring 3.2 out of 5 against other phones at this price. It is strongest on display and weakest on performance. That is the lowest we have recorded for it.
The ZuPick verdict
The vivo V30 Pro 5G gets a lot right with its bright 1.5K AMOLED display, slim design and flexible triple-camera setup. The trade-offs are clear though: no NFC, no wireless charging, short software support and performance that sits below many rivals in this premium range.

Pros & cons
You get a rare three-way setup here: main, ultrawide and 2x telephoto are all 50 MP. That makes the camera system more flexible than many rivals that skip zoom entirely.
The 1260x2800 AMOLED panel is sharper than standard Full HD screens, and 2800 nits peak brightness helps with outdoor visibility. The 120 Hz refresh rate also keeps scrolling and animations smooth.
80W charging is strong for this price and gets the 5000 mAh battery filled quickly. It is a good fit for buyers who top up in short bursts.
At 7.45 mm and 188 grams, it stays relatively sleek for a phone with a large 6.78-inch display. That makes it easier to carry than some bulkier alternatives.
NFC is close to standard at this price, so missing it is a real drawback. It limits tap-to-pay convenience and makes the feature list feel less complete than key rivals.
With 2 years of OS updates, it falls well behind the longest-supported phones in this range. That matters if you plan to keep your phone for four years or more.
The telephoto camera is useful, but 2x reach is modest in a segment where better zoom options are available. It helps with portraits more than true long-distance shots.
At this budget, some alternatives offer the convenience of cable-free charging. Here, charging is wired only.
