Not Worth Buying! Just a warning for anyone planning to use the Oppo F29 Pro outside of India: When you insert any international SIM (like in the US or Canada), VoLTE option goes missing, which means you can’t make or receive any calls — no incoming, no outgoing.

Pros & cons
It scores about 633,000 on AnTuTu, which is comfortably strong for this price. Everyday use feels fast, and games should run well on medium to high settings.
The 6000 mAh battery is bigger than what most phones here offer, and 80W charging is genuinely quick. It is built for long days without making you wait too long at the charger.
The 6.7-inch AMOLED screen with 120 Hz refresh rate looks smooth and sharp. 1200 nits of brightness also helps with outdoor visibility.
The 50 MP main camera gets OIS, which is still a standout at this price. That helps with steadier low-light shots and more reliable video capture.
IP68, IP66 and IP69 protection is unusually strong for this range. It adds real peace of mind for rain, splashes and rougher daily use.
At ₹18358, it sits near the upper end of this range. The phone is strong overall, but the value side is not as aggressive as cheaper rivals with similar basics.
The 2 MP extra camera does not do much for versatility. You are mainly buying this phone for its primary camera rather than a flexible camera system.
NFC is still not common here, but its absence can matter if you want tap-to-pair accessories or contactless features. Some buyers will miss that convenience.
What owners say
From RedditThat basically makes the phone useless. Oppo Customer care is useless. No help after repeated Contact. On top of that, tempered glass doesn’t stick properly to the screen, and without it, the screen gets greasy and is easy to damage.
Overall, very disappointed. If you're outside India or planning to move or travel, don’t waste your money on this phone. Oppo F29 Pro – No incoming and outgoing calls - No Customer Care support - Tampered glass issue. Never ever going to make the mistake of buying an Oppo phone again.
The Oppo F29 Pro 5G is surely worth having!! The battery capacity and IP rated features makes it more appealing to me. I mean Oppo never fails to deliver you know and with mediatek dimensity 7300 chipset it's worth it!!!
oppo f29 pro 5g bought in February 5.5 hours of battery backup 😭
The phone is overpriced a bit. They overpriced the 256gb/ 8gb model to make you think that you're getting a great deal on 12gb model but that was the intention from the begining. A very cheap marketing stunt. I would skip this phone entirely.
