The ZuPick verdict

2.3out of 5

SkipBest at camera, weakest at performance.

Good battery life, 33W charging and expandable storage are useful, but the 4G connection, soft display and slow hardware are major compromises at this price.

Based on specs, expert reviews and owner discussions.

Performance1.3

The MediaTek Helio G85 with 4 GB of memory can handle calls, messaging, video and light apps. eMMC storage slows loading, heavier games need reduced settings, and connectivity is limited to 4G.

Camera3.1

The 50 MP main camera, f/1.8 aperture and autofocus are suitable for clean daylight photos. Video is limited to 1080p at 30 fps, while the 5 MP front camera delivers modest selfie detail.

Display2.1

The 90Hz refresh rate keeps scrolling smooth, and 720-nit brightness is useful outdoors. However, the LCD panel and 720x1612 resolution look less vivid and noticeably softer than stronger alternatives.

Battery3.1

The 5000 mAh battery provides dependable all-day use, while 33W charging makes top-ups reasonably quick. It is a practical combination rather than an endurance standout.

Value1.9

At ₹18,033, the combination of 4 GB memory, eMMC storage, an HD+ screen and 4G connectivity offers weak value. Many similarly priced alternatives provide 5G, sharper screens or faster hardware.

Pros & cons

What’s good

Dependable All-Day Battery

The 5000 mAh battery comfortably handles a full day of calls, browsing and video. Lighter users may stretch it further.

Useful 33W Fast Charging

The 33W charging support reaches 50% in around 30 minutes. Short top-ups are practical before work or classes.

Room For More Files

The 128 GB internal storage provides reasonable space for apps and photos. A memory card can add up to 1 TB for downloaded videos and other files.

Smooth 90Hz Scrolling

The 90Hz screen makes menus and social feeds feel smoother than a basic 60Hz panel. Its 720-nit brightness also helps with outdoor viewing.

What’s not

4G Only Limits Longevity

The phone is limited to 4G at ₹18,033, while 5G is normal among comparable choices. This makes it difficult to recommend for several years of use.

Soft HD Plus Display

The 720x1612 screen is noticeably less sharp than Full HD alternatives. Small text and high-resolution video will not look as crisp.

Slow Memory And Storage

The MediaTek Helio G85 and 4 GB of memory are suited to light daily use, but demanding games and heavy multitasking can stutter. eMMC storage also makes installations and loading slower.

If you want better performance, my phone (A76) is similar price with the roughly the same specs exept with a Snapdragon 680 but only a 13mp main camera. Might be a year older too so wont get android 14 but already has 13. If you prefer camera quality, then a38 will be better in comparison.
