Yes — at ₹38,989 the iQOO Neo9 Pro is a buy, scoring 3.7 out of 5 against other phones at this price. It is strongest on performance and weakest on value for money. That is the lowest we have recorded for it.
The iQOO Neo9 Pro combines excellent performance, a sharp 144 Hz AMOLED display and exceptionally quick charging. Its camera versatility, moderate battery capacity and cable-only charging prevent it from being an all-round leader.

The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and 12 GB of RAM handle demanding games and heavy multitasking smoothly. UFS 4.0 storage also keeps installations and app launches quick.
The 6.78-inch AMOLED screen combines a sharp 1260x2800 resolution with a 144 Hz refresh rate. Its 3000-nit peak brightness also helps outdoors.
The 120 W charging system replenishes the 5160 mAh battery very quickly. A 20–100% charge takes about 21 minutes.
The 50 MP main camera has optical stabilisation for steadier low-light photos and video. The 8 MP ultrawide adds useful flexibility for landscapes and groups.
There is no telephoto camera, so portraits and distant subjects rely on digital cropping. Several photography-focused alternatives offer dedicated optical zoom.
Rear video tops out at 4K30, while stronger rivals can record smoother 4K60 footage. The 16 MP front camera is also fairly ordinary for this price.
The 5160 mAh capacity is adequate rather than exceptional beside newer large-battery rivals. Wireless charging is unsupported, although the 120 W wired system is extremely quick.
Im dont know this too models specifications or reviews, i brought iqoo neo9 pro, amd best decision i made iQOO really giving good quality, bit animation minor OS glitches felt but ot because of i was Oneplus user previously, i don't like animations so i completely disable always. So it is great phone for me all rounder.
I got the neo 9 pro cos it literally had the best spec for prices
Yeah well export duty , tax , marketing, post processing will cost people extra. Anyways I purchased Neo 9 pro with hopes of using it for the next 4-5 years.
Understand your feelings. Bought mine last week, seems absolutely worth it to me. You do your market research before buying one. Not everyone wants to unlock bootloader . 🤷
Exactly. I regret every single day buying a vivo / iqoo phone. the software feels like android 5. it's so useless..not even normal features yet data stealing & systems app running in background. Can't do anything . Tones of apps, useless notification , no optimization what so ever. For hardware it's peak but software man.
I have iqoo neo 9 pro. I am done with this trash. I'm regretting it now. A high processor phone but it lags everywhere, and the camera is the worst part , it just lags, freezes and hangs your phone for 2 -3 mins. In the future no more iqoo for me.
Okay, so I wanted to ask because when I had originally purchased my iQOO Neo 9 Pro, the battery life was great. Like I seriously was getting 12 to 13 hours screen on time.
But after updating the phone in November 2024, battery drain has just been significant. Even then the battery drain just intensified so quickly. And I was just like appalled.

Our verdict is buy, 3.7 out of 5. It scores best on performance and worst on value for money. Scores come from the specification sheet and today's price, judged against other phones at the same price.
Today's ₹38,989 is the lowest we have recorded in 36 days of tracking, so there is nothing to wait for on the evidence we have.
We score it 4.1 out of 5 for display. The 144 Hz AMOLED panel is unusually fluid, while 3000-nit peak brightness aids outdoor visibility. The 1260x2800 screen is sharper than the Full HD panels many rivals still use.
We score it 3.6 out of 5 for battery. The 5160 mAh battery provides dependable everyday capacity rather than class-leading endurance. Its 120 W charging is the highlight, taking about 21 minutes to move from 20% to full, though charging remains cable only.
We score it 2.9 out of 5 for value for money. For ₹39,999, the 12 GB and 256 GB configuration offers strong performance and fast storage. The top-end price is harder to justify when optical zoom, wireless charging and 4K60 video are excluded.
Excellent gaming performance; Sharp fluid display; Exceptionally fast charging.
No optical zoom; Limited video hardware; Cable-only charging.
We score them level — 3.7 against 3.7. The OnePlus Nord CE6 is ₹3,990 cheaper today.
We score them level — 3.7 against 3.8. The iQOO Neo9 Pro is ₹5,010 cheaper today.
Yes. We score it 4.5 out of 5 for performance against other phones at this price, which is the score that carries gaming.
We score it 3.0 out of 5 for camera, judged against other phones at this price. The 50 MP main camera benefits from optical stabilisation, and the 8 MP ultrawide covers broader scenes. However, 4K30 video, a 16 MP selfie camera and the lack of optical zoom keep the camera system around the middle of the pack.
At this price, the OPPO F27 5G — we score it 3.8 against the iQOO Neo9 Pro's 3.7 at ₹34,999.
