The ZuPick verdict

3.6out of 5
ConsiderBest at display, weakest at value.

The Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G Ivy gets a lot right where most buyers will notice it first: display quality, battery size, durability and the main camera. It is a well-rounded option, but its performance and overall value face tougher competition in this price range.

Based on specs, expert reviews and owner discussions.
Performance3.3
The Dimensity 7300 Ultra, 8 GB RAM and 5G support make this a dependable daily performer. Multitasking is smooth and most games run well, but the UFS 2.2 storage and overall power level sit closer to the middle of this category.
Camera3.5
The main camera has the right ingredients for good results: 50 MP, a bright f/1.5 lens, OIS and 4K video. That gives it a solid foundation, though the lack of a telephoto camera and fairly ordinary supporting lenses keep it from feeling like a true camera-first phone.
Display4.4
This is one of the better screens you can get around this price. The curved AMOLED panel, 1220x2712 resolution and 3000 nits peak brightness give it a richer, sharper look than the usual Full HD options, while 120 Hz keeps motion smooth.
Battery3.5
The 5500 mAh battery is comfortably above the common 5000 mAh setup, so all-day use is easy. 45W charging is decent rather than standout, making the overall battery experience good but not class-leading.
Value3.2
It offers a strong display, useful durability features and a capable main camera, which helps justify the ₹25920 price. Even so, performance and storage speed are more middle-of-the-pack, so the value is good rather than exceptional.

Pros & cons

What’s good
Excellent display quality

The 6.67-inch curved AMOLED panel is a real highlight. Its 1220x2712 resolution, 120 Hz refresh rate and 3000 nits peak brightness make it sharp, smooth and easy to use outdoors.

Strong camera basics

The 50 MP main camera pairs a bright f/1.5 lens with OIS, which helps both low-light shots and steadier video. 4K at 30 fps also adds useful flexibility for casual creators.

Reliable battery setup

A 5500 mAh battery is comfortably above the usual 5000 mAh class and should last a full day with ease. The 45W charger keeps top-ups practical even if it is not among the fastest in this range.

Premium durability touches

IP68 water resistance and Gorilla Glass Victus 2 are meaningful upgrades for daily use. They make the phone feel better prepared for long-term ownership than many rivals.

Good everyday software support

Three Android version updates and four years of security updates are solid for buyers planning to keep the phone for a while. That adds reassurance beyond the hardware.

What’s not
Mid-pack raw performance

The Dimensity 7300 Ultra with 8 GB RAM is fine for daily use and regular gaming, but this price range has faster options. Heavy gamers will find stronger performers nearby.

Older storage standard

UFS 2.2 storage is serviceable, but app installs, large file transfers and game loading are not as quick as phones using newer storage in this bracket.

Weak extra cameras

The supporting 8 MP ultra-wide and 2 MP macro do not add much beyond the main camera. This is not the best pick if you want consistently strong results across all rear cameras.

No NFC support

NFC is still not common everywhere, but it is a useful extra for tap-to-pay and quick pairing. Missing it slightly hurts convenience at this price.

I am using the Xiaomi Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G 8/256 at the exact moment. I've had the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10S, 10 Pro and 12S before. None of the phones did have any issues. The 14 Pro 5G is an amazing phone with an awesome camera that is beyond incredible.

i hate this phone, xiaomi simply cant make good software, like every other fucking redmi its just a fucking trap, spec sheet says 4k30 video, guess what, it cannot record in 4k30, at best it i will be 4k10 because the cpu will start throttling before you even hit record

I have also Xiaomi Redmi Note 14 pro 5G but I think the battery drain so fast even though I don't have games yet only social media apps.

Overall: The Xiaomi Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G is a great option that offers some flagship level performance for a mid range price. It has it's quirks but overall it's a solid 7.7/10 in my book, I hope it proves to be equally reliable in the future.
