The ZuPick verdict
The Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G still offers a smooth AMOLED display, a stabilised main camera and useful 67 W charging. Its low performance, dimmer Full HD display, limited zoom capability and basic durability make it uncompetitive at ₹33,999.

Pros & cons
The 50 MP main camera uses optical stabilisation to reduce blur in low light. It can also record 4K video at 30 fps.
The 6.67-inch curved AMOLED display refreshes at 120 Hz, making scrolling and animations fluid. Stereo speakers and the headphone jack strengthen the entertainment experience.
The 5000 mAh battery supports 67 W charging for relatively quick top-ups. Tested endurance of around 13 hours and 25 minutes is adequate for a normal day.
Performance of about 514,000 on AnTuTu sits near the bottom of what this price buys. UFS 2.2 storage also makes app installation and loading slower than on newer rivals.
Peak brightness of 900 nits can struggle under harsh sunlight. The 1080x2400 resolution is also less detailed than the sharper 1.5K displays common around this price.
The 8 MP ultrawide handles wider scenes, but zooming relies entirely on digital cropping. The 2 MP macro camera contributes little practical value.
IP53 protection covers splashes rather than serious water exposure. Wireless charging and NFC are also missing, reducing everyday convenience.
What owners say
From Redditi have note 12 pro 5g rn, i can say that is performing great but if i have the chance you have now i'll go straight to 13 cause its has much better specs imo
I got a Redmi Note 12 Pro 5g 12/256 and it's working well for me. Almost 10-13 hours of normal usage and 4-5 hours gaming.
If note 13 pro is out of your budget, then go for Redmi note 12 pro 5g (I also have the same phone), it fast, have good camera and a decent processor which have do everyday internet things easily and can do decent gaming.
i have this phone and so far so good, i've been using it for nearly a week and the battery is good + performance is decent though i don't play any super heavy game, also the screen is quite beautiful
I'm using Note 12 Pro 5g. Pretty much decent and there's not much difference with Note 13. Not interested getting Note 14, guess I'll wait for note 15.
i have it and my spouse also got one. we love it. AMOLED screen took some getting used to (because it looks less poppy than OLED screens) but what is amazing is that it is very readable in the bright outdoors.
using it for about 2 months bought it for $135 the performance is really good for the price i got it, but it heats up frequently while gaming or in video calls, and sometimes some games crashes which force me to restart a game.
Hi, I have it (8/256 version) and it works fine.
As said in the title, I have a brand new Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G but I can't seem to fix some annoying issues. The main one, I can't add a google account because it says "there's already a google account linked to this device"
