The ZuPick verdict
The Xiaomi 17T gets the important things right: strong performance, a very large battery and a flexible camera setup at a price that undercuts many flagships. Its compromises are clear too, especially the lack of wireless charging and a display that does not reach the top tier of this class.

Pros & cons
The 6500 mAh battery is unusually large for this class, so this phone starts with a real endurance edge over many premium rivals. 67W charging is also quick enough to make top-ups practical during a busy day.
It scores about 2.14 million on AnTuTu, which is comfortably into flagship territory. With 12 GB RAM and UFS 4.1 storage, app launches, multitasking and game loading should feel very quick.
You get a proper telephoto lens, a 12 MP ultrawide and 4K60 video from the rear camera. That gives it more flexibility than premium phones that still cut back on zoom.
The AMOLED panel and 120 Hz refresh rate make scrolling smooth and give the screen the contrast buyers expect at this price. The 1268x2756 resolution is also sharper than standard Full HD panels.
At ₹69999, it sits near the lower end of flagship pricing while still offering high-end performance, IP68 protection and fast storage. That makes its trade-offs easier to accept than on pricier rivals.
Wireless charging is expected in this class, and missing it stands out more here than it would on a cheaper phone. Buyers comparing premium options may see that as a real convenience gap.
The telephoto camera adds useful reach, but this class increasingly separates itself with 5x or periscope zoom. This setup is more versatile than basic dual-camera flagships, but not among the best for distant subjects.
The screen is smooth and sharp, but it does not reach the more advanced LTPO tier that helps the best premium displays feel more complete. At this price, that is one of the clearer places Xiaomi has saved money.
