Well, I can't complain about mine. I did not yet try night shots, but day shots are amazing and the portraits turn out beautiful - I come from a Xiaomi 12x. The camera kit is a cool accessory, no other phone has something like that.

The ZuPick verdict
The Xiaomi 14 Ultra gets most things right: excellent cameras, a sharp flagship display, very fast charging and top-end performance. Its main compromise is that the price is high enough to make long-term software support and overall value more open to comparison.

Pros & cons
You get four 50 MP rear cameras with both 3.2x and 5x optical zoom, plus an ultrawide that is genuinely high quality. This is one of the more complete camera systems available at this price.
90W wired charging and 80W wireless charging are both unusually strong for a premium phone. The 5000 mAh battery also avoids the small-cell compromise many flagships make.
The 6.73-inch QHD+ AMOLED screen is crisp, smooth at 120 Hz, and bright enough at 3000 nits for comfortable outdoor use. It feels properly premium in daily use.
It scores about 2.02 million on AnTuTu, which is comfortably flagship-level. Combined with 16 GB RAM and UFS 4.0 storage, it is built for heavy multitasking and demanding games.
IP68 water resistance, stereo speakers, Wi-Fi 7 and NFC round out the package well. It covers the features buyers expect when spending this much.
At ₹119999, this phone sits in a tough part of the market where buyers expect very few compromises. It is excellent, but the price is high enough that rivals can look smarter if camera hardware is not your top priority.
4 years of OS updates is good, but not class-leading in this segment. Some rivals at this price now offer longer support, which matters if you plan to keep the phone for many years.
What owners say
From RedditI've had it for about a week and I do agree the battery could've been better, but I see it's improving as I use it more. It's a shame we didn't get the same battery as the Chinese version.
just got the 14 ultra yesterday [global version]. agreed, it's so damn good. haptics are tight & thumpy like pixel 4xl, really comfortable in hand. camera is incredible - so many improvements over the 12s Ultra. only weak point may be the battery
I had the phone for about 2 weeks before the 14 Ultra camera module began to rattle. I got in touch with customer services who arranged for SBE, who are their repair people to have a look at the phone.
Ditched the s24u and the honor magic 6 pro for this one. Never looked back. Amazing phone. Enjoy it!
Better camera and better screen when it comes to pwm flicker. S23 ultra and s24u gave me migraines. This one does not.
I find the battery OK and I had the phone for more than a year. To me, it is definitely not an issue. I usually wake up around 5am and my battery would die in the evening if I don't charge it.
Maybe I'm a bit late , I have 14 ultra at the same time my brother has s24 ultra ، the reason I choose xiaomi over Samsung was mainly the fast charge , I also purchased the camera kit and some extra cheap lenses for it
Battery isn't the best but again depends on your use , I use heavy internet apps and browse a lot. I tried local AI models ,Windows and Linux emulators : works great , I use my phone as PC often
I have been using it for two years now and never ever regretted buying such an expensive chinese mobile when everyone tried to convince me to buy apple at least if I am spending that much.
