Have been using it for 4 days now. Pretty happy with the purchase, ngl. The build quality is great, feels very chic and its thin and lightweight too.

The ZuPick verdict
The XIAOMI 14 Civi stands out with top-tier speed, a premium display and a camera setup that is more versatile than most alternatives around this price. Its main compromise is battery endurance, but for buyers who prioritize performance and cameras, it is an easy phone to shortlist.

Pros & cons
It scores about 1.44 million on AnTuTu, which is far above what most phones at this price manage. Daily use feels effortless, and demanding games have plenty of headroom.
The 50 MP main camera gets OIS, a bright f/1.63 lens and 4K 60 fps video. The telephoto lens is a real advantage for portraits and cleaner zoom shots than phones that rely only on digital crop.
The 1236x2750 AMOLED screen is sharper than the Full HD panels most rivals use, and peak brightness of 3000 nits keeps it readable in direct sunlight. The curved design also adds to the premium feel.
67W charging fills the battery in about 40 minutes, so top-ups are quick and practical. UFS 4.0 storage also helps apps install fast and games load quickly.
NFC, stereo speakers, Wi-Fi 6E and an IP54 rating round out the package well. These features make the phone feel more complete than many rivals in this range.
The 4700 mAh battery is on the smaller side for this price. It should last a day for most people, but it is not the kind of endurance-focused phone heavy users usually prefer.
At ₹29598, it sits very close to the top of the budget. That makes the value case depend heavily on whether you will actually use its stronger camera and performance hardware.
IP54 is useful for basic protection, but some rivals offer stronger water resistance. If durability matters a lot, this is worth keeping in mind.
What owners say
From RedditFor me, battery life is pretty good, I charge it once a day and it pretty much lasts me throughout the day. I doomscroll and capture videos and edit them, so pretty extensive usage. As for the heating issue, I have not experienced any issue yet.
I'm really disappointed with the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 on the Xiaomi 14 Civi. It's been a total let-down. The performance is inconsistent, and I've noticed a lot of throttling, especially during gaming. The battery life is also worse than expected, and the phone gets really hot.
Edit : Today I got a call from. Xiaomi service centre regarding my issue of heating. They shared the code and asked me to share the bug report from the file manager when my phone becomes hot..
I'm really disappointed with the Xiaomi 14 Civi. While the specs look good on paper with the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chip, the real-world performance is a letdown. The phone constantly throttles under load. Benchmarks may look impressive, but it's clear Xiaomi has optimized for numbers rather than actual usability.
I am not defending it, but honestly if someone expects a mere 40k phone outperform in every aspect to ther flagship is a fool. But at given price i recieved and the alternative i had, i am happy man.
Civi is fully advertised as a camera phone which it is not. Its a Xiaomi phone, it will always have better hardware and battery. That's what they are known for.
Hey guys, so it seems it was some minor bug... Got fixed after I cleared data and cache from playstore and then rebooted the phone... Well, I'm not actually quite surprised by this cuz the os has been buggy ever since I started using!!
I would suggest you to stay away from any phone that is running Hyper OS!!! The complete system is buggy! Yes even the stable builds are buggy!
