I currently have the Honor Magic 8 Pro and I wanted to try Vivo since OPPO and their Find X are basically better OnePlus and I've tried those. Vivo X300 Ultra is looking like a top 3 phone but the price... We'll wait and see for now. This Honor is quite good.

The ZuPick verdict
The vivo X300 Ultra 5G is an excellent ultra-premium phone with standout performance, a superb display, a huge battery and a very strong camera setup. Its main drawback is simple: at this price, even small compromises like the shorter zoom reach matter more.

Pros & cons
The QHD+ AMOLED panel runs at 144 Hz and reaches 4500 nits peak brightness. It is sharp, very smooth, and easy to use outdoors even in harsh sunlight.
It scores about 3.98 million on AnTuTu, which is right at the top of what phones can deliver. Combined with 16 GB RAM and UFS 4.1 storage, it is built for heavy gaming and long-term speed.
The 6600 mAh battery is unusually large for a flagship, and 100W charging keeps refill times short. Wireless charging is here too, which matters at this price.
A 200 MP main camera, 200 MP telephoto, 50 MP ultrawide and 8K video make this a very strong camera package. The 3.7x optical zoom is useful for portraits and distant subjects without stepping too far back.
Five years of OS updates and seven years of security updates make it easier to keep for a long time. That matters more on a phone this expensive.
At ₹159999, this starts from a tough value position. It has flagship hardware, but the price leaves little room for mistakes and invites comparison with other ultra-premium phones.
The 3.7x telephoto is good, but some rivals at this level push further with 5x or periscope zoom. If long-range photography is your priority, this is the main compromise.
At 232 grams, this is a substantial phone. The large screen and battery help justify it, but one-handed comfort is not a strength.
What owners say
From RedditI'm using X300 Ultra Indian variant and I feel that vivo doesn't listen to our feedback. I get it, there are very few users who purchased this phone, but that should not mean that the most premium flagship deserves to be ignored.
I reported the battery drain issue multiple times, visited vivo store and shown them how X100 Pro's camera beats X300 Ultra's camera in most of the scenarios, but nothing, no improvements and complete ignorance.
After powering on the phone, I was very disappointed because it's display is not good. X100 Pro has a clean display which is on cooler side, and the pictures look very clean. But X300 Ultra's display has a warmer tone by default and pictures look kind of pale.
Also, people in the community who don’t even own the device shouldn’t instantly dismiss or blame users reporting issues. Real-world usage is very different from YouTube reviews. Most influencers are testing under perfect lighting conditions and carefully selected scenarios, which doesn’t always reflect everyday camera performance.
I actually didn't have too high hopes, I came from the oppo find x9 pro and I wholeheartedly believed that it wasn't gonna be that much of a difference and goddamn! I am completely wrong!! I cannot believe how much better it is!
This is such an incredible phone I can't believe how good the cameras are! I absolutely love how jam-packed the camera features are! There's a setting for literally everything!!
After about two months of use, I'm posting this list of issues and aspects that I think need improvement. I like the phone and I bought the global version spending a lot and I intend to keep it because overall it's a good smartphone.
Stock Android Style Management: A notification management style similar to Google Pixel would be preferable. It should be possible to dismiss them with a swipe from either the left or the right, and use a long press to access other functions.
There's no automation or routines. I can't tell the phone, "Whenever I plug in my charger, automatically enable bypass charging." I also can't create a routine that says, "When I launch CODM, switch the refresh rate to 144Hz, then switch it back to 120Hz when I close the game."
