The ZuPick verdict
The vivo V50 5G prioritises endurance, display quality, durability and social-media cameras. Its slower storage, middling gaming performance and lack of a zoom camera keep it from standing above stronger all-round alternatives.

Pros & cons
The 6.77-inch curved AMOLED combines fluid 120 Hz motion with excellent outdoor visibility. HDR10+ support also improves contrast when streaming compatible films and shows.
The 6000 mAh battery lasts 16 hours 16 minutes in PCMark, comfortably covering a demanding day. Its 90W charging reaches 80% charge in about 39 minutes from 20%.
Optical stabilisation steadies the 50 MP main camera, while the 50 MP ultrawide captures detailed group and landscape shots. The autofocus-equipped 50 MP front camera is particularly useful for selfies and video calls.
IP68 and IP69 protection provides considerably more reassurance around dust, rain and accidental splashes than most alternatives. The 189-gram body remains relatively manageable despite the large battery.
An AnTuTu result of about 821,000 sits below the usual pace at this price. Everyday use should remain smooth, but demanding games require restrained graphics settings.
UFS 2.2 storage opens and installs apps more slowly than the UFS 3.x and UFS 4.x hardware used by quicker rivals. The ₹34,998 configuration also starts with only 128 GB.
The rear system covers standard and ultrawide perspectives but cannot deliver true optical zoom. Distant subjects and portraits across a room lose detail when digitally enlarged.
Wireless charging and NFC are both missing. Charging is therefore cable-only, while contactless payments and quick accessory pairing lose a useful option.
