The ZuPick verdict

3.1out of 5
ConsiderBest at display, weakest at battery.

The vivo V25 Pro 5G remains a balanced option with an attractive curved display, steady main camera and smooth everyday operation. Its battery hardware, optical-zoom limitations and shorter software runway make careful comparison worthwhile.

Based on specs, expert reviews and owner discussions.
Performance3.3
The Dimensity 1300 with 8 GB of RAM provides smooth daily performance and handles most games comfortably. UFS 3.1 storage keeps app installation and loading quick, though this combination is no longer among the fastest at the price.
Camera3.3
The 64 MP main camera benefits from optical stabilisation, while the 8 MP ultrawide and 32 MP selfie camera add useful versatility. Video tops out at 4K30, and the lack of optical zoom limits distant shots.
Display3.5
The curved AMOLED panel offers excellent contrast and smooth 120 Hz motion. Its 1080x2376 resolution is adequate rather than exceptional because sharper 1.5K screens are common among similarly priced rivals.
Battery2.5
The 4830 mAh battery delivered 15 hours 29 minutes in testing, providing dependable daily endurance. However, 66 W wired charging, the relatively modest capacity and cable-only charging leave it behind stronger competitors.
Value2.9
The ₹32,690 price is competitive, but the 8 GB and 128 GB configuration provides modest memory and storage for the money. The smaller battery and limited software commitment further weaken its appeal against newer alternatives.

Pros & cons

What’s good
Polished curved AMOLED

The curved 6.56-inch AMOLED panel delivers rich contrast and fluid 120 Hz scrolling. Its Full HD resolution is crisp, though several rivals offer sharper 1.5K screens.

Steady versatile cameras

The 64 MP main camera uses optical stabilisation for steadier low-light photos, while the 8 MP ultrawide adds useful flexibility. Both rear and 32 MP front cameras can record 4K video.

Smooth everyday performance

The Dimensity 1300, 8 GB of RAM and UFS 3.1 storage provide responsive daily use, quick app loading and comfortable multitasking. Most games run well with sensible graphics settings.

What’s not
Battery hardware trails rivals

The 4830 mAh battery lasted 15 hours 29 minutes in testing, but many competitors carry substantially larger cells. Its 66 W charging is also behind the faster options at this price, and charging is cable-only.

No optical zoom

The camera array relies on digital cropping for distant subjects. Rivals with dedicated telephoto cameras preserve noticeably better detail in portraits, events and travel shots.

Shorter software runway

Two Android version upgrades and three years of security support limit its long-term appeal. Buyers keeping a phone for three or four years can find stronger support commitments elsewhere.

I really bought Vivo V25 Pro from November 2022. 1. The phone battery sometimes might drain faster while I watch Tiktok or being in the call on WhatsApp 2. Frame got scratches

I have a green line issue on Vivo V25 Pro after update. This is not my fault and it's Vivo's fault. I would like to get a solution for this

Vivo says my phone is physically not proper and seems to be bent and that is why they will not replace my display, i mean how does this even make sense? This display issue is because of vivo fault, and still vivo is finding reasons to not change my display, this is a scam on international level by a huge company. Vivo lost its customer today.

I've vivo v25 pro 5g (8-128) (black color), using it for 2-3 years. 3 months ago it somehow got the green line, visited the vivo service centre and the guy there said it was due to a software issue. They replaced the screen, folder, speaker, charging port and like every other part on the folder except sim tray. No issue with battery or anything. Everything works fine
