The ZuPick verdict

3.3out of 5

ConsiderBest at display, weakest at value.

This is a balanced phone with a strong display, durable construction and useful video features. Average performance, slower storage, modest tested endurance and limited camera variety make its trade-offs significant.

Based on specs, expert reviews and owner discussions.

Performance3.4

It reaches about 699,000 on AnTuTu, around the middle of what this price buys. The 8 GB RAM configuration handles everyday multitasking and moderate gaming well, though UFS 2.2 storage limits responsiveness.

Camera3.5

The 50 MP f/1.79 main camera benefits from optical stabilization, while 4K60 recording and a 32 MP front camera strengthen video capture. The 2 MP depth camera adds little versatility, and digital zoom cannot replace a telephoto lens.

Display3.9

The curved AMOLED panel and 1800-nit peak brightness are strong at this price. The 1080x2392 resolution is suitably sharp, while 120 Hz delivers the smoothness expected from current competitors.

Battery2.9

The 5700 mAh battery provides useful capacity, but 11 hours 40 minutes of tested use is modest. The 44 W charging system is adequate rather than fast, taking about 78 minutes to reach full charge.

Value2.8

At ₹24,999, the display, water resistance and stabilized camera are attractive. However, 8 GB RAM, 128 GB storage, UFS 2.2 speeds and modest tested endurance keep the overall package from standing out for value.

Pros & cons

What’s good

Bright curved AMOLED

The 6.77-inch curved AMOLED display produces rich contrast, while peak brightness of 1800 nits helps with outdoor visibility. Its 120 Hz refresh rate keeps scrolling and animations smooth.

Strong water resistance

IP68 and IP69 protection provides unusually comprehensive resistance to water and dust. The 7.39 mm body also remains slim despite the 5700 mAh battery.

Stable high-resolution video

The 50 MP main camera has optical stabilization and records 4K video at 60 fps. This combination produces steadier, more detailed clips than basic 4K30 cameras.

Good multimedia package

The large AMOLED display, HDR10+ support and stereo speakers work well for films, streaming and games. The 32 MP front camera can also record 4K video.

What’s not

Middling real endurance

The 5700 mAh capacity sounds generous, but the 11-hour-40-minute battery result is modest. Charging at 44 W takes about 78 minutes for a full refill.

Slower internal storage

UFS 2.2 storage can make large game installations and loading times slower than phones using newer storage. The 128 GB model also lacks expandable storage.

Limited camera versatility

The secondary rear camera is a 2 MP depth unit, with neither an ultrawide nor a telephoto option. Distant subjects rely on digital zoom and lose detail quickly.

No NFC support

Tap-to-pay services and quick pairing through NFC are unavailable. That can be inconvenient for buyers who regularly use contactless payments.
