The ZuPick verdict

3.1out of 5
ConsiderBest at display, weakest at value.

This phone prioritises battery life, display quality and durability, but it is less balanced than buyers should expect at ₹39,999. Its weak secondary-camera setup, modest charging speed and expensive base configuration hold it back.

Based on specs, expert reviews and owner discussions.
Performance3.2
It scores about 956,000 on AnTuTu, placing performance around the middle of what this price buys. The 8 GB RAM handles normal multitasking well, while UFS 3.1 storage keeps everyday loading reasonably quick.
Camera2.8
The 50 MP main camera and optical stabilisation help produce steadier photos, while the 32 MP front camera is useful for detailed selfies. A 2 MP depth sensor cannot compensate for the lack of an ultrawide or telephoto camera, and rear video stops at 4K 30 fps.
Display3.7
The 6.83-inch AMOLED panel combines a sharp 1260x2800 resolution with smooth 120 Hz motion. Peak brightness of 3000 nits keeps it readable outdoors, though more advanced display technology exists at this price.
Battery3.4
The 7050 mAh battery delivered nearly 15 hours in testing and supports wireless charging. However, 44 W wired charging is modest for such a large battery and takes about 65 minutes from 20% to full.
Value1.8
At ₹39,999, the 8 GB RAM and 128 GB starting storage are underwhelming for the money. The large battery, wireless charging and strong water protection help, but the limited cameras and middling performance weaken the deal.

Pros & cons

What’s good
Long-lasting 7050 mAh battery

The large battery delivered nearly 15 hours in testing, making a full day of demanding use realistic. Wireless charging adds convenience that few rivals offer.

Sharp outdoor-friendly display

The 1260x2800 AMOLED screen is sharper than standard Full HD panels. Its 120 Hz refresh rate keeps motion smooth, while 3000 nits peak brightness aids outdoor visibility.

Excellent water protection

IP68 and IP69 protection provides unusually strong resistance to water and dust. That makes the phone better suited to travel and demanding outdoor use.

Useful long-term support

Three years of operating-system updates and five years of security support make it a practical long-term purchase. The 256 GB option also provides more room for apps and media.

What’s not
Limited rear cameras

The 50 MP main camera has optical stabilisation, but the 2 MP depth sensor adds little practical value. There is neither an ultrawide camera nor optical zoom, both significant compromises at ₹39,999.

Slow charging for capacity

The 44 W charging system takes about 65 minutes to go from 20% to full. That is slow beside the much faster charging offered by many competitors.

Poor base-variant value

₹39,999 is difficult to justify for 8 GB RAM and 128 GB storage. UFS 3.1 is reasonably quick, but rivals frequently provide more memory, storage or stronger performance for the money.

No NFC connectivity

The lack of NFC prevents tap-to-pay and quick pairing with compatible accessories. Buyers using contactless phone payments should look elsewhere.
