Is the Samsung Galaxy F56 5G worth buying at ₹30,999?

Yes — at ₹30,999 the Samsung Galaxy F56 5G is worth considering, scoring 3.1 out of 5 against other phones at this price. It is strongest on display and weakest on value for money. We have seen it as low as ₹23,499.

The ZuPick verdict

3.1out of 5
ConsiderBest at display, weakest at value.

The Galaxy F56 5G gets the basics right with a good AMOLED display, slim design, dependable main camera and excellent long-term software support. The problem is value: at ₹29990, it does not offer enough hardware advantage to stand out strongly in this category.

Performance3.5
The Exynos 1480, 8 GB RAM and UFS 3.1 storage should keep everyday use smooth, with fast app launches and good multitasking. It is capable enough for regular gaming too, but this is not one of the faster phones you can buy for nearly ₹30000.
Camera2.9
The 50 MP main camera with OIS is the clear highlight here, helping with steadier low-light shots and cleaner video. 4K recording is a plus, but the 12 MP front camera and lack of a telephoto lens keep the overall camera package from feeling especially strong for the price.
Display3.9
The 6.7-inch Super AMOLED Plus display looks rich and vibrant, and 120 Hz keeps scrolling smooth. Peak brightness of 1200 nits is good for outdoor use, though the 1080x2340 resolution and overall screen hardware are more solid than standout at this price.
Battery2.9
The 5000 mAh battery should comfortably last a full day for most people, and 45W charging is convenient for quick top-ups. In this price range, though, both battery size and charging speed land closer to the middle than the front.
Value1.9
You get a polished design, long software support and a dependable main camera, but ₹29990 is a tough ask for this hardware mix. It feels expensive next to rivals that offer stronger performance or more aggressive battery and charging specs.

Pros & cons

What’s good
Slim premium build

At 7.2 mm and 180 grams, it feels noticeably slimmer and lighter than many phones with similar battery size. The glass back and Victus Plus protection also add a more premium in-hand feel.

Reliable main camera

The 50 MP main camera with OIS is a real strength for everyday photography. It should deliver steadier low-light shots and more dependable video than many rivals that rely on basic stabilization.

Good software support

Samsung is promising 6 years of Android and security updates. That makes it a much safer long-term buy than most phones in this price range.

Solid everyday display

The 6.7-inch Super AMOLED Plus panel gives you deep blacks, strong contrast and smooth scrolling at 120 Hz. Peak brightness of 1200 nits is good enough for regular outdoor use.

Fast wired charging

45W charging is quick enough to make top-ups easy during a busy day. It is not class-leading here, but it is still comfortably practical.

What’s not
Price is too high

At ₹29990, it sits right at the top of the budget while offering hardware that does not clearly lead this category. That hurts its value against stronger rivals in the same range.

Performance is only mid-pack

With 8 GB RAM and UFS 3.1 storage, day-to-day use should feel smooth, but this is not positioned as a standout gaming phone for the money. Buyers focused on raw speed can do better at this price.

Battery is fairly ordinary

The 5000 mAh battery and 45W charging are perfectly usable, but both are common rather than impressive in this segment. Several alternatives now push ahead on endurance or charging speed.

Secondary cameras are basic

The ultra-wide is useful, but the 2 MP macro adds little real value. This setup leans heavily on the main camera rather than offering a versatile photography package.

Just go for it just that I think you can reduce 1-2K off My brother has it, & it really has great battery life, good connectivity (5G) & nice performance even though it's Exynos Don't go for A35/A36 in the similar price range
