if you ask me, the A54 is an incredible phone! the phone is very fast and smooth for the price, the display is big, bright, and colorful. the 120hz refresh rate is buttery smooth, and makes the phone feel more expensive.

The ZuPick verdict
Strong update support, expandable storage and IP67 protection cannot offset the major compromises. Performance, charging, display brightness and zoom capability all trail what buyers should expect around ₹40,000.

Pros & cons
Four years of Android updates and five years of security support make ownership more predictable. That commitment remains competitive for buyers who keep their phones for several years.
Gorilla Glass on the front and back gives it a more substantial feel. IP67 protection adds reassurance against dust, rain and accidental immersion.
Storage expansion of up to 1 TB is valuable for large photo, video and offline-media libraries. The hybrid slot means expansion uses the second SIM position.
Everyday tasks should run adequately, but gaming and demanding apps are far behind stronger alternatives. Slow UFS 2.2 storage further affects installation and loading speeds.
The 25W charging system is unusually slow when 80W is common around this price. There is no wireless charging, so every top-up requires a cable.
The camera relies on digital cropping for distant subjects, losing detail compared with phones offering dedicated 3x or 5x lenses. Video also stops at 4K30 rather than 4K60.
The 120Hz Super AMOLED panel delivers smooth motion, but its Full HD resolution and 1000-nit peak brightness lag sharper, brighter alternatives. Outdoor visibility is therefore less convincing.
What owners say
From Redditthe A54 is an amazing phone, and it just works. everytime, it does what I want it to do.
my problem with the phone is the battery. since I got the phone back in June, I've been searching and searching and searching to find an answer to my problem, and I've created many reddit posts, talked to Samsung support, tried many google searches, and tried everything I could think of, still to no success.
while connected to WiFi, I do some messaging, I watch some YouTube videos, I spend some time on Reddit, and some other light tasks. no gaming, or anything heavy like that. no matter what I do, I can only make the battery last about 4 hours, often more like 3.5 hours.
I got up at 6:30 AM, unplugged, went to work, came back and it is now 6:50 PM and my battery is at 74%. I'm no heavy user and most of the day I'm on WiFi networks.
Make fun of me of what I have to say, but I seriously don't like the A54 since I purchased it this January. Most of the issues I face, are may be due to the high temperature in my region, which reaches upto 48C.
Battery drains quickly. I barely get a day on Wifi, with 5:30 SoT max (no gaming, just Teams, Facebook, YT, WhatsApp and Reddit)
since I got the phone in June, this phone has had extremely poor battery life. I don't do anything extremely processor intensive. I do some messaging, I scroll reddit, and other very light tasks. but my battery life is absolutely terrible.
