I was between the pro and plus. Went with the plus and don’t regret it one bit. Battery life truly is amazing it’s literally never dead on me by the end of the day. Only coming close on days where I’m super heavy into games or maps. I can easily get two days out of it on lighter to moderate use.

The ZuPick verdict
The long update commitment, large OLED and convenient wireless charging are worthwhile, but the compromises are unusually visible for a premium phone. A 60Hz display, 20W charging, modest comparative performance and no telephoto camera hold it back.

Pros & cons
Five years of operating-system updates make this a sensible phone to keep well beyond a typical upgrade cycle.
The 6.7-inch OLED and 1290x2796 resolution give text, photographs and video plenty of space and clarity.
The 48 MP main camera has optical stabilisation for steadier low-light shots, while the 12 MP ultrawide fits more into the frame.
IP68 water resistance adds reassurance around rain and spills. Wireless charging also makes routine top-ups more convenient.
The 60Hz screen looks less fluid when scrolling and navigating than the 120Hz displays expected at this price.
Zoom relies on cropping rather than a separate optical zoom camera. Rivals commonly offer 3x zoom, with stronger options reaching 5x.
Charging is limited to 20W, and going from 20% to full takes over two hours. That is a major inconvenience beside much faster rivals.
It reaches about 1.30 million on AnTuTu, which is modest for this price. NVMe storage keeps everyday operation responsive, but demanding users can get considerably more speed elsewhere.
What owners say
From RedditI don’t know if I got a bad phone or not, but my plus is horrible. Constantly slow and lagging. I would not buy it. Get the pro
I’m using an iPhone 15 Plus. I bought it for ₹83k in March 2024, and it’s a really great phone. The fast charging and battery backup are both excellent. The only issue is that I have the 128 GB variant, so storage sometimes becomes a problem , but I usually transfer my data to my laptop. Overall, my experience has been very good, and this is my first iPhone.
I returned my 15 Pro and got a 15 Plus. It’s an awesome phone so far. I sort of miss the 120hz since I love high refresh rates . The pros is that the battery life is awesome, camera is great and the screen is just as good quality as the pros, minus the refresh rate. It doesn’t feel as smooth as pro motion but my eyes are adjustment. Watching videos is a joy on this screen.
Yep. Don’t compare them side by side and you’ll barely even notice. We all used 60hz screens for years. You’ll be fine. The 15 Plus is great.
This is always interesting to me. I swap between my iPad Pro and my 15 Plus several times a day and it’s never been an issue. Yes I can see the difference, but it seems like YouTubers and Reddit make a kick bigger deal of it than everyone else.
I feel it’s overrated in everything. I’ve got a 144hz monitor and I’ve used 120h phones, there definitely is a difference but it’s not enough to really care that much. Maybe I’m just old.
