Firstly it's a solid bulit phone imo, it can get wet, you can drop it. Overall I like it. Camera capture is neat. Gaming is good. I can give it 7/10 due to my experienced issues and the price.

The ZuPick verdict
This is a well-rounded upper-midrange phone with a standout display, big battery and strong main camera. It gets the important fundamentals right, but charging speed, storage speed and the lack of a telephoto lens keep it from feeling class-leading.

Pros & cons
The AMOLED panel, 120 Hz refresh rate and 3200 nits peak brightness make this a strong screen for outdoor use, streaming and everyday smoothness. The 1280x2772 resolution is also sharper than standard Full HD rivals.
The 6580 mAh battery is well above the usual capacity in this price range, and the tested 14h 22m result points to dependable all-day use with room to spare. Lighter users should comfortably stretch beyond a day.
The 200 MP main camera with optical stabilisation gives it a clear advantage for detailed daylight shots and steadier low-light photos. 4K video support also keeps it useful for casual content capture.
IP68 plus higher-grade water and dust resistance is a real bonus at this price. NFC, stereo speakers and an in-display fingerprint sensor round out the package well.
45W charging is a weak point in a category where many rivals refill much faster. A 58-minute 20 to 100 percent time is serviceable, but not impressive for the money.
UFS 2.2 storage is behind the faster standards many competitors now use. Day-to-day use will still be fine, but app installs, large file transfers and game loading are not as quick as the best options here.
You get a strong main camera and a usable 8 MP ultrawide, but there is no dedicated zoom lens. That limits portrait reach and cleaner long-distance shots compared with the better camera-focused phones in this range.
What owners say
From RedditHas issues (like any other phones I guess but there's a tiny bit more on my phone) Camera is laggy, lens is blurry, but when you capture it, when you look at it, it's pretty good.
Three weeks ago, I bought a Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G after losing my Poco X5 Pro, which I was very happy with and which performed much better than this one, I should point out. I bought this phone thinking it was the perfect solution, but as the days went by, even from the first day, the experience has been shameful and outrageous
Honest review from a user here: I've been using the Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G (8/256 variant) for a week now, and honestly, I totally regret buying this phone.
Good afternoon, I bought a Xiaomi Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G two months ago. My problem is this: sometimes I press the power button but it doesn't respond, or the screen only turns on after about five seconds.
I have a redmi note 15 pro 5g that i absolutely hate. I cant play even moderately heavy games since the lag is unbearable. Using the stock camera app is also a pain because the app itself runs at 4 frames, i turn around then the viewfinder updates 10 seconds later
