Just got mine. So glad I upgraded from the 5. The new, more rectangle sharp edge design looks so much more elegant. The front screen is a huge improvement over the 5 and looks much more like the s24 series. Love it. Traded the 5 in for $1200

The ZuPick verdict
The Galaxy Z Fold6 5G is about the foldable experience first: a large inner display, strong multitasking and long software support. Its trade-offs are clear too, with slow charging, middling value for the money and hardware that does not lead every area at this price.

Pros & cons
The 7.6-inch inner screen gives you far more room for reading, split-screen work and video than a regular flagship. The 120 Hz refresh rate also keeps scrolling and app switching smooth.
Samsung promises 7 years of OS and security updates, which is among the best commitments you can buy. That matters more at this price because this is a phone people keep for years.
It scores about 1.77 million on AnTuTu, which is comfortably fast for demanding apps, multitasking and high-end games. UFS 4.0 storage also helps apps install and open quickly.
You get a proper 3x telephoto lens, a 12 MP ultrawide and 8K video, so the camera system covers more situations than most foldables. It is flexible enough for travel, portraits and casual video work.
15W wireless charging and reverse wireless charging are both here, which you should expect at this level. It adds convenience on a desk or bedside table.
At ₹149999, it starts from a tough value position and has to beat slab flagships clearly to justify the premium. The foldable design is the main reason to pay this much.
25W charging is weak for this class. A phone at this price should refill faster, especially when many rivals are much quicker.
The inner screen is large and smooth, but its 968x2376 resolution is not as crisp as the best premium phones. At this price, several rivals offer noticeably sharper panels.
The 3x telephoto is useful, but this is still behind the 5x and periscope zoom cameras that help the best camera phones in this range pull ahead.
What owners say
From RedditAbsolutely will start off by saying I love this thing. Got the pink DSi colored one. I upgraded from an s24u, and a s23u before that. The extra real estate is something I will forever have going forward. Broke her in with some genshin, which it crushed. Scrolled Instagram, and the layout was excellent.
Received mine the other day, so far I like everything about it, except two things. The hinge corners are too sharp, and should have the same radius as the non hinge corners. Makes left handed use when folded uncomfortable. I'm sure I'll get used to it, but still.
Got my first Fold (6) yesterday, super happy with it coming from the S23 Ultra... strangely one of the standouts for me is the smaller form factor of the outer screen... only "downside" is the slightly less capable main camera module...
Upgraded from an s23U and a pixel 8 backup. My fold has some cool tricks but woof, was not expecting the cameras to be this bad
I did. I enjoyed the larger screen, front and interior, but I felt the battery life wasn't worth it, didn't like the price, didn't like the case options. I sent it back, decided to get the S24 Ultra, will probably trade it in for a fold 7 or S25 ultra next year.
Fold 6 owner here for about 10 days, i regret getting it even though i like it, the price wasnt worth it because i already had the fold 5 and i didnt realize how good it still was until after it was shipped off for trade in
Yes I am in process of returning. Went from a Fold 4 to S23U and recently got the Fold 6. Fold 6 hands down feels way better than the Fold 4. Didn't justify the price tag for me. I might return to a Fold if samsung can make some drastic improvements to battery and camera, and hopefully more reasonably priced against the competition.
Reason 1: the inner screen is simply amazing and it's hard to go back to a slab phone. I switched back to my S22 ultra for a few hours to see how it felt again and although it's still a premium experience, I found myself really missing the real estate the zfold has to offer.
I have owned the zfold6 for two months, I have always liked this square design, I got used to the external display being a bit narrow but it allows you to grip this large phone better, the software is excellent, however I expected more from the Galaxy AI functions and from the cameras
