Had the fold 5 and traded it in for the oneplus open for 2 primary reasons. The first and foremost reason was the Bluetooth on the fold 5 was awful I would constantly have to turn it off and turn it back on during calls because people complained I was sounding robotic when using ear buds

The ZuPick verdict
The large folding display and versatile cameras give it a clear productivity advantage, but buyers sacrifice screen sharpness, charging speed, benchmark performance and camera reach. Those compromises are difficult to accept at ₹119949.

Pros & cons
The 7.6-inch folding screen gives documents, videos and multiple apps far more room than a conventional phone. The 120 Hz refresh rate keeps scrolling fluid.
The combination of a 50 MP main camera, 12 MP ultrawide and 3x telephoto covers more shooting situations than dual-camera foldables. Optical stabilisation helps keep low-light shots steadier.
12 GB RAM supports demanding multitasking, while UFS 4.0 storage helps apps and large files open quickly. Storage choices extend from 256 GB to 1 TB.
At ₹119949, the Fold5 demands a substantial premium for its folding design. Its display, endurance, charging and performance figures do not compete strongly with similarly priced flagships.
The 4400 mAh battery takes 43 minutes to move from 20% to full, and 25W charging is slow for the money. Wireless charging is convenient but does not offset the modest wired speed.
The 904x2316 cover display is noticeably less crisp than the 1.5K and QHD+ screens offered by many premium rivals. Peak brightness of 1750 nits remains readable outdoors but is unexceptional here.
The 3x telephoto is useful for portraits and subjects across a room, but leading camera phones at this price reach 5x or farther. The 10 MP front camera is also modest for such an expensive device.
What owners say
From RedditHad the fold5 for a couple months ( short amount of time I know) jumped over from ios had no issues so far I love it and can't see myself going back to a slab phone or Ios. The multi-tasking on the inner screen is great, Handy, for editing my code and writing emails on the go
Yup love mine. Got it as a pre order and it works like brand new to this day. No regrets. Might've been super expensive but I can safely say this phone has been way more durable especially battery wise vs the dozen slab phones I had before it over the years.
The SPEN on my z fold 5 worked very badly, 1/4 of the screen did not detect it or wrote crookedly, I don't miss the UDC because the screen is so much larger than in fact the part of the screen where there is the sensor is literally an additional screen bonus
Most days Im using my phone all day since I dont really watch TV etc (prefer youtube docs and going to shady sites to watch shows for free lol) and after 6 months of having the fold 5 my battery health in device care is still normal being able to charge to 4400 mAh.
Still using zfold 5 after 3 years. It's still in great condition after heavy usage. Used it extensively while doing remodeling in my house in a dusty environment and dropped it on the concrete floor probably more than a handful of times. I've always had a case for it though.
The only reason I need an upgrade now is the battery degradation.
After about 10 days of use, I am VERY impressed with the efficiency and performance. Everything is stock and it looks like it's possible that I may hit 9-10 hrs of SOT before fully depleted. And that is with limiting the battery to 85%!!
I've owned the 3, the 4, and now the 5. The Fold 5 is way more durable, much better designed. I can feel the quality difference. You should be fine.
Owned F2, F3, F4, and F5. 5 is the best hinge. Insurance is a must have, but zero issues for me on any model. Rocked the 4 and currently the 5 caseless.
