The ZuPick verdict

3.2out of 5
ConsiderBest at display, weakest at camera.

The Galaxy Z Flip7 5G stands out for its foldable design, polished display, strong day-to-day performance and excellent long-term software support. Its trade-offs are clear too: modest zoom, slower charging and only fair battery life for the price.

Based on specs, expert reviews and owner discussions.
Performance3.5
It scores about 1.52 million on AnTuTu, which is strong for everyday use and solid gaming. Samsung also backs it with 7 years of updates, and 12 GB RAM with UFS 4.0 storage keeps the phone feeling fast over time.
Camera2.5
The 50 MP main camera, 12 MP ultrawide and 4K60 video cover the basics well for a premium phone. The weak point is zoom: 2x optical is limited when many rivals in this range reach farther.
Display3.6
The AMOLED panel, 120 Hz refresh rate and 2600 nits peak brightness give you a sharp, smooth and bright experience. Resolution is still below the best premium panels, so it looks good rather than class-leading.
Battery3.2
For a foldable, the 4300 mAh battery is acceptable and wireless charging helps with convenience. The 25W charging and 11.52 hours of tested use are fine, but several premium rivals last longer or charge much faster.
Value2.9
At ₹109999, it sits in a premium bracket where buyers should expect fewer compromises. The foldable design and long support help, but the camera zoom and charging are not as strong as some alternatives for the money.

Pros & cons

What’s good
Long software support

Samsung promises 7 years of OS updates, which is among the best you can buy. That makes this a much safer premium purchase if you keep phones for a long time.

Strong everyday speed

With 12 GB RAM, UFS 4.0 storage and about 1.52 million on AnTuTu, it feels fast in daily use. Apps open quickly and multitasking stays smooth.

Bright smooth display

The 120 Hz AMOLED panel and 2600 nits peak brightness make the main screen feel fluid and easy to use outdoors. It looks premium even by flagship standards.

Useful wireless charging

You get 15W wireless charging and reverse wireless charging, both expected and genuinely handy at this price. That adds convenience many buyers want in a flagship.

What’s not
No real telephoto

The camera system tops out at 2x optical zoom. At this price, many rivals give you 3x, 5x or a periscope lens, so this is a clear compromise for distance shots.

Slow wired charging

25W charging is modest for a phone above ₹1 lakh. A full top-up takes longer than many premium Android rivals, so quick refills are not this phone's strength.

Battery life is only fair

The 4300 mAh battery gets some foldable leeway, but 11.52 hours of tested use is still just okay. It should get through a day for many people, though not with much margin on heavier days.

Had the phone 2 months and can't really moan about anything ive seen people saying g bad battery, mines pretty decent, would never go back to slab phones

Nope I have it and love it :), haven't had any issues with it either except once when I tried to take a video and it randomly switched off on me out of nowhere. It never happened again so I might have been a one time thing . But I love the phone regardless.

I had the flip 3, 6, and now the 7 and I actually do regret the flips a little. The flip 3 had almost no issues but the flip 6 started to have a really bad hinge issue making me have to get the 7. Sure enough the 7 I have had sence launch started having a hinge issue making it unusable.

I went from iphone 12 to the flip 7, I'm really enjoying it. I only use the front screen unless it forces me to open the phone, love how compact it is. everyone mentions the bad camera, but I dont use social media other than reddit and I'm not out trying to be a photographer so it's perfect for me.
