The 6.7-inch phone folds into a much smaller shape for pockets and compact bags. Its clamshell design remains the clearest reason to choose it over a conventional phone.

Wireless and reverse wireless charging reduce cable dependence. This is still a meaningful convenience among similarly priced phones.

Four OS updates and five years of security updates make it suitable for extended ownership. Samsung's support commitment is stronger than many rivals offer.

IPX8 protection provides reassurance against spills and accidental immersion. That is particularly valuable for a mechanically complex foldable.

The 3700 mAh battery lasts around 10 hours 22 minutes in testing, leaving little reserve for demanding days. Charging at 25W is also much slower than the 80W-class speeds common among rivals.

There is no optical zoom camera, while rear video tops out at 4K30. The 12 MP main camera and 10 MP front camera also look modest beside alternatives focused on photography.

Its processing speed is well below what stronger phones around this price deliver. UFS 3.1 storage and 8 GB RAM are adequate for everyday use but do not stand out.

The 120Hz Super AMOLED panel produces smooth motion, but the 260x512 resolution and 1200-nit peak fall behind sharper, brighter competitors. Display quality is therefore not a strength despite the fluid refresh rate.
