Anyway, around the start of the 2nd week, I started noticing that it was working markedly better. A very noticeable improvement as it learned 'me'. I don't measure numbers or anything, don't play games, and mostly use it with Wi-Fi in the house. But my battery life is substantial now. It's fantastic.

The ZuPick verdict
The Galaxy S25 Plus 5G gets the fundamentals right: premium display, flagship performance, long software support, and the expected premium extras. Its main compromises are average charging speed and a camera system that is good rather than standout for this level.

Pros & cons
The 6.7-inch QHD+ screen is sharp, smooth at 120 Hz, and bright enough at 2600 nits for comfortable outdoor use. It feels properly premium for this price.
With 12 GB RAM, UFS 4.0 storage, and about 2.3 million on AnTuTu, it is comfortably fast for heavy apps, multitasking, and demanding games.
Samsung promises 7 years of OS updates and 7 years of security updates. That makes it one of the safest picks here if you keep phones for a long time.
You get IP68 water resistance, wireless charging, stereo speakers, and a telephoto camera. It covers the features buyers expect once you are spending this much.
45W charging is usable, but it is not quick by flagship standards anymore. Rivals at similar prices can refill much faster.
The 3x telephoto is useful for portraits and subjects across a room, but this is still behind the stronger 5x and periscope zoom setups available in this range.
The 4900 mAh battery and 12h 51m tested endurance are solid for a big flagship, but not the kind of stamina that clearly leads the category.
What owners say
From RedditAfter the two rather large updates, it improved even further. Everything about the general function of the phone has been excellent. Hard to point to any one thing, it's just so 'pleasant' to use and handle.
I just upgraded to the galaxy s25 plus from a galaxy z fold 5 and man I'm blowed away, let's start with how light it is for a big phone, my z fold 5 always felt bulky and heavy especially in my pocket.
Next the brightness and 120 hz refresh rate is top tier, very smooth gliding operating system. & oh the battery, cant forget that. I get at least 40% battery left at the end of a 8 hour shift.
Just got s25 plus from samsung website for 1.2k usd coming from old s21FE, im disappointed in its battery life, my old 21fe holds similar charge as brand new s25plus with all power savings mode on and other background restrictions turned on.
I find the s25+ being just as pocketable as the base. I came from an s21 base and originally didn't want a bigger phone, but it took a day to get used to and I've never had an issue with it being bigger.
I have ordered an S25+ and it's being delivered on Saturday. I'm currently using an A52 5G. I opted for the Plus as it's similar size to my current phone and the battery on the base S25 seemed too small.
