I have to talk about the absolute masterpiece that is the Exynos 2400 in my Galaxy S24. This thing sucks the battery dry in no time. 5G? Oh, dont even try. I had to force it to 4G because my battery was vanishing before my eyes.

The ZuPick verdict
The Galaxy S24 5G AI gets a lot right: compact design, long software support, strong cameras and dependable performance. Its weaker battery size, slower charging and Full HD display keep it from standing out more strongly against the best rivals around this price.

Pros & cons
The 6.2-inch body is easier to use one-handed than most rivals in this price range. You also get IP68 water resistance and a light 167 gram design, which adds everyday comfort.
Seven years of OS and security updates is among the best promises available on any phone. That makes it a strong pick if you plan to keep your phone for a long time.
The 3x telephoto lens is genuinely useful for portraits and distant subjects, and the ultrawide avoids the common downgrade to a token secondary camera. 8K and 4K60 video add flexibility for serious shooting.
It scores about 1.7 million on AnTuTu, which is comfortably strong for this price. UFS 4.0 storage also helps apps open quickly and keeps the phone feeling snappy.
The AMOLED screen refreshes at 120 Hz and reaches 2600 nits peak brightness. That gives you fluid scrolling and good outdoor visibility.
The 4000 mAh battery is on the lower side for this price range. It can still get through a day for many users, but rivals often offer more headroom.
25W charging feels conservative in a segment where much faster top-ups are common. Wireless charging helps, but cable charging is not a strength here.
The 1080x2340 display looks sharp at this size, but several rivals now offer 1.5K panels. If screen sharpness is a priority, this gives up some ground.
What owners say
From RedditBattery life on s24 is not that good. The phone costs so much yet they are so sensitive to mobile data. The idle drain is way too much. I have seen better battery life on the samsung A series.
I'm not an expert with phones at all and have a S24 and love it. Battery life is pretty good for my needs, and always get through the day on one charge.
I also came from an S21 and pretty blown away by the battery on this. Definitely worth it
I've got the regular S24 and I feel like the battery life is okay for a phone of this size. I've optimized the phone quite heavily to improve battery life (deactivated 5G, capped the refresh rate on 60 Hz, made the UI as black as I could and uninstalled as much of the preinstalled junk as possible).
I just got an s24 regular exynos version here in India the phone lasts about 4-6 hours with heavy use
I have the regular S24. I get a day and a half comfortably. More sometimes. I never let it go below 20%
The phone itself is soo awesome it's not big asf not too small either, just perfect and the bezels are barely noticeable but it's battery is really bad, have to charge it like 2 or 3 rimes everyday and I get like 3 or 4 hr SOT per charge with regular use and gaming is even worse considering the battery drain.
The following are the problems I have had with my Galaxy s24 ever since purchasing it. If I attach a file such as a photo or a video to a text, it sends that text then automatically attaches the same file into a new text without me attaching it.
Bought my S24 a week ago. Mostly satisfied with it, but camera experience is really underwhelming for a flagship. And I feel like it's software ruining it. I turned the AI down to minimum so it doesn't draw a lot of awful shit over my pictures, and it got better.
