Almost no issues and was an almost early adopter, bought mine right after pre-release. Make sure you update the phones software and all the apps in the Galaxy store, as I have noticed improvements on everything since earlier this year.
The one issue I have encountered is the battery being less than optimal when not in range of a strong 5G signal. I have remedied that issue by switching to LTE only using the menu or the (*#*#4636#*#*) dialer command. It uses less battery when on LTE vs 5G.
The phone itself is very fast and the camera is excellent, even in low light photos. You just have to hold the phone still and can't have shaky hands, lol. No trouble with moving objects in the daytime, but at night it can be blurry if they're not still.
Heating issues: the only times my phone got hot, was when I used it in a hot car or in direct sunlight while using 4G for a while, which heats up every phone. Wasn't so hot that it was dangerous. I can play games without the phone getting concerningly hot; just warm, and that is while playing Genshin.
Battery: usually decent, not great, still long if you use WiFi and no 5G at all on battery saving mode. Some updates fucked up my battery though, but those were in the past.
I have the S22+ and heating is fucking insane especially while gaming. Also fps drops
Battery life is bad. 4 hrs screen on time with 12 hours screen off time per 100%. It's helped reduce my screen on time that's for sure. No gaming or 5G included, only 4G/wifi
Performance is great, i can't fault it at all. Heating is a non issue. I don't really feel like it heats up. I'm pretty happy with it except for the battery life.
I have the S22+ since launch, phone is amazing. Battery life is much better on WiFi; particularly for me where the 4G signal is pretty weak. I'm not a heavy user; phone runs smooth as butter and doesn't get warm at all.
I'm not doing a factory reset and I get consistently 6hr20min on wifi and 4hr20min on mobil data. My phone is pretty much always not hot and runs smooth. That's with pretty much everything on. I'm cool with it.
