The ZuPick verdict
The Galaxy M47 5G gets the basics right with a good AMOLED display, strong battery life, dependable performance and useful long-term software support. Its main drawback is simple: at this price, it is a balanced phone rather than an aggressive one.

Pros & cons
The 6000 mAh battery is a real strength in this range. It should comfortably last a full day of heavy use and can stretch well beyond that with lighter use.
It scores about 840,000 on AnTuTu, which is comfortably above the middle of what this price usually delivers. Day-to-day use feels smooth, and demanding games are very playable with sensible settings.
The 50 MP main camera gets OIS and 4K video, which gives it a solid foundation for cleaner low-light shots and steadier clips. Daylight photos should come out detailed and reliable.
The Super AMOLED panel brings deep contrast, and the 120 Hz refresh rate keeps scrolling and app navigation fluid. Peak brightness of 1200 nits is good enough for outdoor use.
Six years of OS and security updates is excellent for buyers who keep phones for a long time. It adds real value beyond the hardware alone.
At ₹29999, it sits right at the top of this bracket. That makes it work harder on value, especially when some rivals offer stronger hardware for less.
The entry variant starts with 6 GB RAM, which feels modest at this price. It is fine for regular use, but heavier multitasking benefits more from the 8 GB option.
You get useful main and ultra-wide cameras, but zoom is digital only. Distant subjects will lose detail faster than on the few camera-focused rivals with a dedicated zoom lens.
What owners say
From RedditI got it for 21k the 8gb variant. At that price its solid. Processor is decent average. Setup is the key if you enable all one ui features and lockscreem glance with nfc it will lag. For dads basic usage its sufficient.
I have been using mine and it has been great actually, no lag in general use, decent cameras, good battery life, but it heats up during gaming, turn on bypass charging and there should be no major heating issue in gaming
I have the 6 gb ,128 varient and it lags in day to day tasks
I got mine last Thursday, so it's been 10 days, the first few days were kind of horrible but now it seems to be running smoothly, there are just minor lags while switching heavy apps, which you can expect at this price range
Annoyed to the extreme .. Even can't deliver Very basic usage like whatsup and upi with out laggy perfomance. Wifi keeps disconnecting while in idle, after unlock wifi need to be disconnected and reconnected ! Such a waste of money
every M47 user has DISPLAY ISSUE , LAGGING ISSUE, SCREEN JITTERING , PHONE HANG ISSUE , UNOPTIMISED UI RESPONSE , CAMERA FLICKERING ISSUE , SLOW USER EXPERIENCE .
So I just bought my first phone i.e Samsung Galaxy M47 5g 6GB 128GB verision , it has been functioning pretty good . but i am very new to samsung environment and ONE UI sooo....
