If your mom is only gonna use YouTube and WhatsApp just buy some budget moto or poco or lava in that price range. Just be careful that storage doesn't fill up. I use poco c75 5g and it's simply because I don't have the budget for new smartphone and my use case is only hotspot, WhatsApp and reddit. It takes time to load app but it's deal breaker for me.

The ZuPick verdict
The POCO C75 5G focuses on the essentials that matter most at a low price: 5G, smooth everyday use, decent battery life and good value. Its weaker screen sharpness and basic cameras stop it from being an easy pick for everyone, but it still makes sense for budget buyers.

Pros & cons
At this price, 5G support is a big plus for buyers who want a low-cost phone that still feels current. It makes the phone easier to keep for longer.
The 120 Hz screen makes scrolling through apps, social feeds and menus look smoother than basic 60 Hz phones. That helps everyday use feel more responsive.
The 5160 mAh battery is comfortably above the usual 5000 mAh mark. For calling, messaging, video and light browsing, it should get through a full day without stress.
UFS 2.2 storage helps apps open faster and keeps installs and file transfers from feeling too sluggish. That is a useful advantage in an entry-level phone.
The 720x1640 display is a clear compromise in this price range. Text and videos will not look as sharp as Full HD rivals, especially on a large 6.88-inch panel.
The 50 MP main camera should do fine in daylight, but the overall camera package is modest. Video tops out at 1080p at 30 fps, and low-light shots will need steady hands.
4 GB of memory is enough for calls, chat, streaming and light app use, but heavier multitasking will feel limited. Games and frequent app switching can slow it down.
What owners say
From RedditThen it's likely a hardware problem. I have a C75 that I bought dirt cheap. It's not my main phone, though. Very sluggish — almost as bad as my Samsung A15 5G — but it works and has good battery endurance.
Bro mine is also poco c75 5g and very disappointing 😮💨
Man don't listen to all the snobs in here, i got the c75 half a year ago and it's great if you use it for emails, calls, texting and even light gaming and it's not laggy at all, honestly a good overall phone, and for this price? Pfft
I'd say the biggest issue with it is the top brightness in the sun but it's manageable with sunlight mode
in my phone poco c75 5g there is no split screen so difficult to do normal work
