So around last month I got a new Poco M8 5G, and I'm loving it, coming from a nokia C01 plus. So far everything is good

The ZuPick verdict
The POCO M8x 5G gets attention with its massive battery, NFC and long software support, but the display is far below what buyers should expect in this price range. It makes sense only if battery life matters much more to you than screen quality or cameras.

Pros & cons
The 7900 mAh battery is far larger than what most phones in this price range offer. It should comfortably last well beyond a full day, even with heavy use.
It scores about 624,000 on AnTuTu, which is decent for routine use. Apps, calling, browsing and casual gaming should feel smooth, especially on the 6 GB variant.
NFC is still not common enough to take for granted at this price, and stereo speakers help with videos and games. These extras make the phone more convenient day to day.
4 years of Android updates and 6 years of security updates are strong for buyers who keep a phone for a long time. That adds practical value beyond raw hardware.
The 720x1600 LCD is a major compromise at this price. It is less sharp than Full HD rivals, and the 675 nits brightness also limits outdoor readability.
33W charging is on the slower side for this budget. The very large battery helps endurance, but topping it up will take noticeably longer than many alternatives.
The 50 MP main camera is fine in daylight, but the lack of stabilisation and 1080p30 video keep it behind stronger camera phones. Low-light shots and moving subjects need more care.
Starting with 4 GB RAM feels tight for a phone above ₹20,000. The 6 GB version is the safer pick if you use many apps at once.
What owners say
From RedditI have the m8 5g, using it for online classes & social. Imho it's perfect for its price. Keep in mind, that it doesn't have 3.5 jack support.
Well, that's pretty much it. I recently bought a Poco M8 5G and when the 5G signal is gone (for example inside my house there's only 4G) it does not reconnect using 4G. In the settings 5G is preffered, so it's not a "only 5G" setting.
So i got this device POCO M8 5G last month, and since then I'm trying to make YouTube, Instagram and other apps run on 120hz but it is stuck at 60hz, same with games likes clash of clans, even after enabling higher fps toggle in coc it is still stuck at 60hz.
Absolutely terrible descision. I'd kill to get NFC on the Indian Poco M8. It would be a heartbeat buy for me even rn without any sale. Some say in the developer options there is an option to enable nfc but poco has not enabled it in the Indian version.
Just go to poco service center and replace green line if it happened because of hardware problem and poco m8 has 1600 charging cycle if u think like that after 1600 cycle u will still have 86 health so sounds good to me
