I recently bought a poco c71 (6gb, 128 gb). The google and google assistant apps installed are the go version. The Android version in the phone only shows Android 15, no explicit mention of it being go edition.

The ZuPick verdict
The POCO C71 gets the basics right with a smooth screen, reliable battery life and steady everyday performance. It is a sensible choice if you want a dependable budget phone and can live with slower charging and a less sharp display.

Pros & cons
The 120 Hz screen makes scrolling feel smoother than most phones at this price. It gives everyday use like messaging, browsing and social apps a more fluid feel.
The 5200 mAh battery comfortably covers a full day for most people. With battery life of 13h 41m, it is dependable for calls, video and routine app use.
It scores about 265,000 on AnTuTu, which is better than the middle of what this price buys. Day-to-day tasks should feel steady, with enough headroom for light gaming too.
The 32 MP rear camera with autofocus and a bright f/1.75 lens should do a decent job in daylight. Photos for WhatsApp, documents and casual sharing should come out well enough.
Charging is on the slower side for this price. A full top-up takes patience, so it is better suited to overnight or desk charging than quick boosts.
eMMC storage is slower than the faster storage used in some rivals. App installs, updates and loading times can feel less snappy over time.
The 720x1640 screen is fine for video and reading, but text and images are not as crisp as sharper screens. You will notice this more if you read a lot.
What owners say
From RedditThere's a reason why it runs Android Go. It doesn't have enough ram to run full android, moreover HyperOS which is a really heavy skin.
Probably worst poco phone ever, it was born bad and always remained like that... If you accidentally have a chance of getting this skip it don't get close to it....
I took it to the service center and they chalked this up to lagging. The display freezes for a couple of seconds and starts working once I turn the phone off and on. But while gaming, it becomes way too frequent.
sorry but I can't find it. Gemini says that since my phone has android Go, it doesn't have full MIUI or HyperOS.
Clearing the system UI cache and restarting the phone worked great for a couple of days but now it doesn't work anymore. I have tried doing it multiple times in different conditions.
Poco C71 fits your description...has 128 GB storage unlike others having 64 in its price range...it's poco wo it must be reliable too, 5200 mah battery....can't say much about the processor though
would say poco is better just because it has a bigger battery, more ram and more storage in less price...both have processors from unisoc, so yes C71 would be better value for money. It should also last longer
