The ZuPick verdict

2.8out of 5

SkipBest at display, weakest at battery.

The bright AMOLED display, large battery and long security support are worthwhile. Slow charging, UFS 2.2 storage, middling performance and a basic zoom-free camera system leave it behind stronger alternatives at this price.

Based on specs, expert reviews and owner discussions.

Performance2.8

It reaches about 975,000 on AnTuTu, placing raw speed around the middle of what this budget buys. The 8 GB of RAM is adequate for multitasking, but UFS 2.2 storage holds back responsiveness.

Camera3.0

The 50 MP main camera benefits from optical stabilisation, and the 8 MP ultrawide covers landscapes and groups. However, 4K recording stops at 30 fps, the 16 MP selfie camera is ordinary, and there is no optical zoom.

Display3.4

The Super AMOLED panel delivers good contrast, smooth 120 Hz motion and 2000-nit peak brightness for outdoor visibility. Its 1080x2344 resolution is sharp enough, but many similarly priced rivals offer denser 1.5K screens.

Battery2.3

The 6000 mAh battery provides reassuring endurance, but 33W charging is notably slow for this price. Cable-only charging further limits convenience.

Value2.4

At ₹34,999, the 8 GB/128 GB configuration faces faster rivals with quicker charging and more modern storage. The display, battery capacity and long security support recover some value, but not enough to make it competitive overall.

Pros & cons

What’s good

Bright fluid AMOLED

The 6.77-inch Super AMOLED display combines a 120 Hz refresh rate with 2000-nit peak brightness. Scrolling looks smooth, while outdoor readability is strong.

Large 6000 mAh battery

The 6000 mAh capacity should comfortably handle a full day of demanding use. Lighter users can reasonably stretch it into a second day.

Useful camera essentials

The 50 MP main camera has optical stabilisation for steadier low-light shots, while the 8 MP ultrawide adds flexibility. It can also record 4K video at 30 fps.

Long security support

Three Android version upgrades provide reasonable feature longevity. Six years of security updates make the phone easier to keep for an extended period.

What’s not

Slow 33W charging

The large battery is paired with just 33W charging, which is slow for ₹34,999. Long top-up times reduce the convenience of that extra capacity.

Dated storage technology

UFS 2.2 storage is slower than what many rivals use at this price. Large installations, file transfers and app loading will feel less immediate.

No telephoto camera

The camera system cannot provide true optical zoom for portraits, events or distant subjects. The 16 MP front camera is also modest for this budget.
