The ZuPick verdict
The Infinix SMART 8 gets the basics right for a low-cost phone: a smooth enough screen, dependable battery life and a better-than-average main camera. It is best for everyday use, while speed and screen sharpness remain modest.

Pros & cons
The 90 Hz screen feels smoother than a basic 60 Hz panel when scrolling through apps, messages and social media. 500 nits brightness is decent for regular indoor use and manageable outdoors.
The 50 MP rear camera with autofocus and an f/1.8 lens is a real plus at this price. It should do well for daylight photos, documents and casual family shots.
The 5000 mAh battery is the standard people look for in this range. It should comfortably handle a full day of calls, messaging, video and light app use.
You still get a side fingerprint sensor, 3.5 mm headphone jack, expandable storage and dual SIM support. These are practical extras that matter in day-to-day use.
eMMC storage is slower than the faster storage used in better phones under this budget. App installs, updates and opening heavier apps can feel less snappy.
The 720x1612 display is fine for YouTube, WhatsApp and browsing, but text and images are not as crisp as the sharper screens found on the best options.
This phone is better suited to light apps and routine use. Bigger games and heavier multitasking are likely to show lag more quickly.

From Redditmostly socmeds, and nag eedit din me here thru canva and capcut and I'm surprised na hindi siya umiinit so i guess worth it siya
Not bad for its price. I got the 128GB+4GB(+4GB) variant for 2899. Smooth naman tho Android Go ang OS nya. Does also the basic tasks well naman.
The infinix smart 8 has 4gb of ram which is pretty decent for the price of 3,699 It also has 64gb UFS 2.? internal memory Which is pretty Outstanding If you look at the price of the phone.
The camera quality is pretty decent The colors good but the lighting not too good nor bad. This phone Has a T606 which is pretty fine when dealing with social media apps, and some games too.
I recommend the infinix smart 8 for Kids( Ages 12 below) Like me(I'm 13 but im still a kid ig) But Also Teens or People who have low budget. With the decent specs for the price of ₱3,699 The infinix smart 8 is a Valuable phone. 7.5/10
If mainly for school and daily use. Infinix smart 8 is good na. But for gaming, it will probably not perform the best. The camera is doable, and could probably make pictures better with lots of editing or using third party camera apps.
My Infinix smart 8 is almost 3 years old now and going strong for the most part, but I recently bought a smart 20 as a “backup” for when the day comes.
Hi everyone, I've had this phone for just over two years and recently it's developed a charging problem. When I plug it in to charge, it shows that it's charging but then the percentage doesn't change.
I started charging my phone at around 9:50–10:00 PM when it was at 27%. I took a shower around 10:10 PM, and when I came back about 20 minutes later, my phone was already showing 100%.
