The ZuPick verdict

2.6out of 5
SkipBest at value, weakest at camera.

The Infinix SMART 20 gets the basics right with a smooth large display, decent battery size and a few rare extras. But in this price range, its 4G-only connectivity, low-resolution screen and weak camera make it hard to recommend over better-balanced alternatives.

Based on specs, expert reviews and owner discussions.
Performance2.4
It scores about 367,000 on AnTuTu, which is enough for everyday apps, calling, streaming and lighter games. With 4 GB RAM and eMMC storage, multitasking and loading times feel more basic than stronger options nearby.
Camera2.0
This is a basic camera setup for simple photos rather than serious photography. The 8 MP main camera with autofocus can manage daylight shots, but detail, low-light quality and video flexibility are limited.
Display3.0
The 120 Hz refresh rate helps the screen feel smooth, but the 720x1600 resolution is softer than Full HD options in this range. Brightness of 560 nits is serviceable indoors and manageable outside, though not a standout.
Battery2.7
The 5200 mAh battery is slightly better than the usual 5000 mAh class and should last a full day for most people. 15W charging is on the slow side, and the 11h 24m tested result is only modest for this category.
Value3.3
The price is fairly accessible, and the phone adds useful extras like NFC, stereo speakers and IP64 protection. Even so, the 4G-only connectivity, basic camera and entry-level storage reduce its value against stronger rivals around this budget.

Pros & cons

What’s good
Smooth 120Hz display

The 120 Hz screen makes scrolling feel fluid in apps, social media and menus. The large 6.78-inch size also gives videos and reading more room.

Good everyday battery

The 5200 mAh battery is comfortably sized for a full day of regular use. 15W charging is basic, but the phone should still suit light to moderate users well.

Useful extra features

NFC, an IR blaster, stereo speakers and IP64 protection are uncommon bonuses at this price. They make the phone feel more practical than very bare-bones rivals.

Decent basic performance

It scores about 367,000 on AnTuTu, which is enough for calling, messaging, streaming and lighter gaming. Day-to-day use should feel acceptable, though not especially fast.

What’s not
4G only connectivity

At this price, 5G is increasingly expected. Choosing a 4G-only phone now makes it less future-ready than many alternatives in the same budget.

Weak main camera

The 8 MP rear camera is well below what most buyers will find in this range. It can handle simple daylight shots, but detail and low-light results will be limited.

Low sharpness display

The 720x1600 screen is noticeably less sharp than Full HD rivals. Text and videos look fine at a glance, but clarity is not a strong point.

Slow storage speeds

eMMC storage makes app installs, updates and game loading slower. It is usable for basics, but it does not feel as snappy as phones with faster storage.

parang impossible naman na wifi yung may problem, kasi authentication lang na common is WPA/WPA2-PSK (WPA2-Personal), and yung uncommon na WPA3-SAE (WPA3-Personal) which is supported since Android 10 and up by default feel ko hardware yan

When I visited Carlcare Service Center, their Wi-Fi connected to my phone. That's why I was so confused of what is the issue. I tried everything to fix it, asked ChatGPT, watched youtube, and nothing worked. I Factory Reset my phone as a last resort, and still no connection.

Sometimes it connects but give me a 0 mpbs, limited connection, etc. it give every error I could think of. So, I went back to Carlcare, they said it's the router's problem talaga, In-explain ko sakanila na hindi nag-coconnect sa dalawang Wi-Fi namin sa bahay, at sa office.
