The ZuPick verdict
The Reno8 Pro 5G remains smooth, slim and quick to recharge, but its display, battery and camera hardware fall behind stronger alternatives near ₹35900. Its large memory configuration is not enough to offset those compromises.

Pros & cons
The 12 GB RAM and 256 GB storage provide ample room for demanding apps, large files and sustained multitasking. UFS 3.1 storage keeps everyday app launches responsive.
The 80W charging system replenishes the phone quickly, reducing the inconvenience of the smaller battery. Short top-ups can provide several more hours of typical use.
At 7.3 mm and 183 grams, the phone is slimmer and lighter than many large-screen alternatives. The glass back gives it a more premium feel.
Peak brightness of 950 nits can make the screen harder to read in strong sunlight. The 1080x2412 resolution is also less detailed than the sharper 1.5K screens common around this price.
The 4500 mAh battery has less capacity than many current rivals, making heavy-use days more challenging. There is no wireless charging, so every refill requires a cable.
There is no telephoto camera for clean optical zoom, while the 2 MP macro contributes little. Video tops out at 4K30 rather than the smoother 4K60 offered by stronger camera phones.
The IP54 protection handles dust and light splashes but is not designed for submersion. Several alternatives offer substantially stronger water resistance.
