The ZuPick verdict

3.8out of 5
BuyBest at battery, weakest at performance.

The OPPO Reno15 5G is a well-rounded premium phone with standout battery life, a genuinely useful zoom camera and long software support. Its main compromise is that raw performance is good rather than class-leading, so it makes more sense for balanced buyers than for power users.

Based on specs, expert reviews and owner discussions.
Performance3.4
Performance is comfortably good for everyday use, multitasking and casual gaming, but it sits more in the middle of this class than near the top. About 1.4 million on AnTuTu is respectable, and five years of OS updates adds long-term value.
Camera3.9
The camera setup is stronger than average for this segment because the 3.5x optical zoom adds real versatility, and 4K60 video plus a 50 MP front camera are both strong points. The weaker link is the 8 MP ultrawide, which is more functional than impressive.
Display3.8
This is a good premium display rather than a class leader. The LTPS AMOLED panel, 120 Hz refresh rate and sharper 1256x2760 resolution all help, while 1800 nits brightness is solid outdoors without standing out against the brightest rivals.
Battery4.1
Battery life is one of this phone’s strongest areas. The 6500 mAh battery is larger than most phones at this price, the tested 17h 06m endurance is strong, and 80W charging is quick, though the lack of wireless charging holds it back a little.
Value3.8
At ₹47499, it lands in a competitive spot for a premium phone. You are paying for battery life, telephoto zoom, water resistance and long software support, though some rivals offer faster performance or wireless charging for similar money.

Pros & cons

What’s good
Big battery advantage

The 6500 mAh battery is unusually large for this price, and the tested 17h 06m endurance points to genuinely strong all-day and next-day use. 80W charging also keeps top-ups quick enough for heavy users.

Useful telephoto camera

A 3.5x optical zoom lens is a real upgrade over the many rivals here that still skip telephoto entirely. It is much better for portraits, stage shots and subjects across a room.

Sharp, smooth display

The 1256x2760 AMOLED panel is sharper than standard Full HD screens, and 120 Hz keeps scrolling and gaming fluid. Peak brightness of 1800 nits is solid for outdoor use, even if not class-leading.

Long software support

Five years of OS updates is strong for a phone you plan to keep. That gives it a longer useful life than many Android rivals in this range.

Premium extras covered

IP68/IP69 water resistance, NFC, stereo speakers and an in-display fingerprint sensor round out the experience well. It feels properly premium rather than cutting corners on basics.

What’s not
Performance is mid-pack

About 1.4 million on AnTuTu is fine for everyday speed, but it is not standout power in this segment. Buyers focused on demanding gaming can get faster phones for similar money.

No wireless charging

At this price, cable-only charging is a noticeable omission. Several rivals add wireless charging as a convenience feature you may miss over a long ownership cycle.

Ultrawide is ordinary

The 8 MP ultrawide does the job, but it is not a standout part of the camera system. The telephoto is the more interesting lens here.

Storage speed trails leaders

UFS 3.1 storage is still fast in daily use, but some rivals have moved to quicker storage. That matters more at this price than it would in cheaper phones.

I've had the OPPO Reno 15 5g for a while now and wanted to say my honest review. Warning!:this phone is not a flagship or a flagship killer it's a Mid-range so don't expect the best from it.

Coloros is amazing and speedy and didn't lag once. Trying heavy games was very good performance for a midrange phone and it didn't even heat.

The camera is where I'm not sure because in low light it is sometimes good and sometimes bad but in normal light it's good but beware if you're using the stock camera the ai is going to try to make the photo better but sometimes it does a bad job
