70Coming from the Honor Magic 6 pro, at the camera department, this is an upgrade, but the rest of the things, this is not an upgrade. This phone doesn't feel, unfortunately, like a flagship.

The ZuPick verdict
3.9out of 5
BuyBest at display, weakest at battery.
This is a well-rounded premium phone with particular strengths in zoom photography, display quality, performance and charging flexibility. Battery endurance and the lack of 8K video keep it below the top tier.
Based on specs, expert reviews and owner discussions.Performance3.9
It scores about 2.34 million on AnTuTu, comfortably above what many premium phones manage. Combined with 16 GB RAM, UFS 4.0 storage and five years of Android updates, it is well equipped for demanding use.Camera3.8
The 6x optical reach and 50 MP ultrawide make the camera system versatile, while the 32 MP front camera is strong for selfies and calls. Video reaches a smooth 4K at 60 fps, though 8K capture would place it among the very best.Display4.2
The LTPO panel, 4500-nit peak brightness and 120 Hz refresh rate make this an excellent screen for outdoor use and smooth interaction. The 1264x2780 resolution is sharp, though QHD+ competitors go further.Battery3.5
A 5910 mAh battery, 80 W wired charging and 50 W wireless charging provide strong everyday convenience. Tested life of 12 hours 14 minutes is the main restraint, falling short of what the capacity suggests.Value3.9
At ₹84,490, it combines long optical zoom, strong performance, a high-end display and fast wireless charging at a relatively competitive premium price. Its modest tested endurance is the clearest trade-off.Price history

Pros & cons
What’s good
Versatile long-range cameras
Four 50 MP rear cameras cover ultrawide, standard and distant subjects, with optical zoom reaching 6x. The 32 MP front camera and 4K video at 60 fps also suit creators.
Excellent outdoor display
The 6.78-inch LTPO display combines smooth 120 Hz motion with peak brightness of 4500 nits. Its 1264x2780 resolution keeps text, photos and video crisp.
Fast sustained performance
The Dimensity 9400, 16 GB RAM and quick UFS 4.0 storage provide ample power for gaming and heavy multitasking. Five years of Android updates support long-term ownership.
Practical charging options
The 5910 mAh battery supports quick 80 W wired and 50 W wireless charging. Reverse wireless charging is useful for topping up compatible accessories.
What’s not
Endurance trails capacity
Tested battery life of 12 hours 14 minutes is modest despite the large 5910 mAh capacity. Heavy users may still need a top-up on demanding days.
Video stops below 8K
4K recording at 60 fps is smooth and useful, but competing premium phones can capture 8K footage. That limits flexibility for videographers who crop heavily.
Resolution below QHD rivals
The 1264x2780 display is sharp, but QHD+ alternatives deliver finer detail. This matters most when viewing high-resolution photos or reading small text.

70Now about the negatives: 1)randomly heating while doing some small stuffs like browsing, Google maps, but I hope for the future users this will be improved 2) battery life it's decent but not that great, I get a similar SOT like in the Honor, around 6h with mobile data always on

Don't buy. I returned it. Updating policy in Europe is pathetic. This is unfinished product. Ltpo doesn't work properly, you don't have notification number on badge(what year it is? 2010?), charging is pathetic, you have to have special charger if not 11w is max, notifications design is unreadable with wrong order and many more.

Optimization is not good either. Just open any app and then open settings from control center. You will see animations tearing every time. Open link in discord? Tearing too. I would expect way more from flagship phoen and cpu.

there aren't much cases for back protection, and hydrogel glass is hard to use since it doesn't stick well on the borders, speakers aren't the best, I would feel like the x8 non pro would be more premium in hand (terms of design), but other than that it is a legendary phone

I've had a Pixel 9 Pro XL , S24 Ultra and iPhone 15 Pro Max this year and I can comfortably say the Oppo Find X8 Pro is as good if not better than all 3 handsets. You won't regret getting one.

A friend of mine has the x200 pro, I have Find X8 pro, while I admit some photos look "better" at least for the picture perfect Instagram life we all aim for, my Oppo has better and more natural results, which is what I like. Screen is amazing, speakers too, its at least top 5 on every aspect on the market right now

Still loving this phone I can't find a weak point, or wait there is one. Lack of branded accessories from manufacturers like spigen, rinkge, OtterBox etc. Battery life and charging speed is on top level, zero battery anxiety with this phone.

ColorOS - no complaints, very smooth, pleasantly looking, a lot of customization Performance - there wasn't a single situation where this phone lagged, everything is extra fast. Camera - flagship level Screen - the best one I've ever owned

It's the best phone you can get... OnePlus 13 is also a great device... But I don't like the design and looks of OnePlus 13 ( subjective). Find X8 pro looks classy to me.. Also the battery backup of find X8 pro >>>>>>> OnePlus 13. You can easily get around 10h of SOT in normal use.
