Recently my cousin bought a new phone along with his father, the shopkeeper manipulated my uncle into specifically buying the oppo F33 pro 5g by boasting about all advanced features and stuff, camera(which is 50mp even budget phones have that at $100-120) and ai shit, my cousin isn't that tech savvy and didn't ask about the processor and specs and bought it.

The ZuPick verdict
This phone gets the basics right and has a genuinely excellent battery, but buyers spending this much usually expect stronger performance and a more complete camera system. It makes sense only if battery life and front camera quality matter far more to you than gaming or rear-camera versatility.

Pros & cons
The 7000 mAh battery is far bigger than most phones at this price. It is built for long days of navigation, streaming and camera use without constant top-ups.
80W charging is quick enough to make the large battery practical. A 20 to 100 percent time of 49 minutes is solid for such a big cell.
The 50 MP front camera is unusually strong for this class. It is a real plus for video calls, selfies and creators who use the front camera often.
IP69K protection is a genuine extra in this range. It adds peace of mind around rain, splashes and rougher day-to-day use.
The AMOLED panel and 120 Hz refresh rate keep scrolling fluid and colours punchy. It feels modern and pleasant for everyday use.
You get optical stabilisation on the 50 MP main camera, but there is no ultrawide or telephoto lens. That leaves it behind rivals that offer more flexible photography.
Rear video tops out at Full HD rather than 4K. At this price, that is a clear step down for anyone who records a lot of clips.
About 651,000 on AnTuTu is well below what stronger phones in this range deliver. It is fine for daily use, but not a standout for demanding gaming.
UFS 2.2 storage is behind the faster storage many alternatives use here. App installs, large file transfers and game loading will not feel as snappy.
What owners say
From RedditF series is a scam everywhere, F33 pro is priced around 38k to 40k in India. I think they're more focused for the offline sales, as those who do impulse buying will get brain washed in the stores & buy it.
Even Reno 14 which has much better specs(cameras, chipset) is priced in the same range, though some people get cheated by Oppo's F & A series.
That is literally the "durable" phone of Oppo so it cost that much for another reason not the specs itself. It is similar phone to Samsung Galaxy Xcover which cost even more. If your cousin went to the shop with Xcover he was most likely recommended with Oppos version of it.
Well I think the phone company is at fault here as this clearly is a predatory practice targetting people with no knowledge of phones in general and just want a "good" phone.
That’s like saying car dealerships are predatory as they lost a price way above and hoping they can keep you up there when negotiating. It’s up to the consumer to do their research on price. Not sure what country this is in though.
