The ZuPick verdict

3.4out of 5

ConsiderBest at display, weakest at value.

The Oppo F25 Pro 5G is a stylish all-rounder with a good screen, dependable battery life and smooth everyday use. Its main compromise is that performance and rear camera ability are more average than standout for this budget.

Based on specs, expert reviews and owner discussions.

Performance3.3

It scores about 601,000 on AnTuTu, which is a bit below the middle of what this price buys. With 8 GB RAM, UFS 3.1 storage and 5G, everyday use stays smooth, but this is not one of the faster gaming phones in the bracket.

Camera3.3

The camera setup is decent rather than standout. The 64 MP main camera with an f/1.7 lens and 4K 30 fps video gives it a solid base, and the 32 MP selfie camera is a plus, but low-light results are less dependable than the better camera phones around this price.

Display3.9

The 6.7-inch AMOLED display gets the basics right for this price, with Full HD+ sharpness and a 120 Hz refresh rate for smooth scrolling. Peak brightness of 1100 nits is good enough for outdoor use, though some rivals go brighter.

Battery3.7

Battery life is a clear strength here. The 5000 mAh cell and nearly 20-hour PCMark result point to reliable all-day endurance, while 67W charging is fast enough to fill up in well under an hour.

Value2.7

You get a polished design, a good display, fast charging and a strong selfie camera, but the asking price is on the higher side for the level of performance and rear camera hardware. It makes more sense if design and day-to-day comfort matter more than raw power.

Pros & cons

What’s good

Slim, premium build

At 177 grams and 7.5 mm thick, it feels lighter and sleeker than many rivals with similar battery size. The curved AMOLED screen also gives it a more polished in-hand feel.

Strong battery setup

The 5000 mAh battery lasts close to 20 hours in PCMark, which translates to easy all-day use. 67W charging is also quick enough to get you back up fast.

Good display quality

The 6.7-inch AMOLED panel, 120 Hz refresh rate and 1100 nits peak brightness make it pleasant for streaming, scrolling and outdoor use. The curved design adds to the visual appeal.

Useful selfie camera

The 32 MP front camera is better than the basic 16 MP units many phones still use. It is a good fit for video calls, reels and social media uploads.

Solid everyday performance

The Dimensity 7050, 8 GB RAM and UFS 3.1 storage keep daily use smooth. App launches are quick, multitasking is comfortable and casual to moderate gaming runs well.

What’s not

Mid-pack gaming power

AnTuTu of about 601,000 is below the stronger performers in this price range. It is fine for everyday use, but heavy games need reduced settings for steadier frame rates.

No camera stabilisation

The 64 MP main camera can take clean daylight shots, but low-light photos and handheld video need a steadier hand. Rivals with optical stabilisation have an edge after dark.

No NFC support

That limits tap-to-pay convenience and a few accessory use cases. It is not essential for everyone, but it is a genuine extra at this price.
