The ZuPick verdict

2.6out of 5
SkipBest at performance, weakest at battery.

The slim design, AMOLED panel and expandable storage are convenient, but they cannot offset the 60 Hz display, modest battery, basic video capabilities and weak pricing. It trails the competition in too many areas that affect daily use.

Based on specs, expert reviews and owner discussions.
Performance3.3
The Snapdragon 695, 8 GB of RAM and 5G handle messaging, streaming and routine multitasking adequately. UFS 2.2 storage and modest graphics performance make heavier games and large app loads feel less responsive.
Camera2.7
The 64 MP f/1.7 main camera can capture respectable daylight images, but the 2 MP macro and mono cameras offer limited practical value. The 16 MP selfie camera is serviceable, while 1080p30 video and digital zoom restrict creative flexibility.
Display2.5
The AMOLED panel and 1080x2400 resolution deliver a sharp, contrast-rich picture. However, the 60 Hz refresh rate feels dated, and 600-nit brightness limits visibility under direct sunlight.
Battery2.0
The 4500 mAh battery is modest for this price and suits lighter daily use better than demanding gaming or navigation. The 33 W charger needs about 63 minutes for a full charge.
Value2.0
₹27,999 is difficult to justify for 8 GB of RAM, 128 GB of UFS 2.2 storage and this level of performance. Faster displays, larger batteries, quicker charging and stronger cameras are widely attainable for similar money.

Pros & cons

What’s good
Sharp AMOLED picture

The 1080x2400 AMOLED screen produces sharp text, deep blacks and pleasing contrast. Its compact 6.43-inch size also makes the phone easier to handle.

Slim lightweight design

At 7.6 mm and 181 grams, the phone feels relatively slim and light. The on-screen fingerprint reader helps keep the design tidy.

Expandable storage and jack

The 128 GB storage can be expanded by up to 1 TB for photos and downloaded media. A 3.5 mm headphone jack adds convenience for wired audio.

What’s not
Poor value for money

At ₹27,999, the 60 Hz display, Snapdragon 695 and 128 GB of UFS 2.2 storage fall behind stronger alternatives. The hardware feels mismatched with the asking price.

Slow 60 Hz screen

Scrolling and animations look less fluid than on the 120 Hz screens common around this price. Brightness of 600 nits also makes outdoor viewing difficult in strong sunlight.

Modest battery and charging

The 4500 mAh battery is smaller than the 5000 mAh or larger units commonly available. Its 33 W charging takes about 63 minutes for a full charge.

Limited camera versatility

The 64 MP main camera can deliver useful daylight photos, but the two 2 MP auxiliary cameras add little. Video stops at 1080p30, while distant subjects rely on detail-losing digital zoom.
