The ZuPick verdict

1.8out of 5
SkipBest at battery, weakest at display.

Battery capacity, 5G and expandable storage cover practical essentials, but the low-resolution LCD, limited performance and weak camera hardware create major compromises for the price.

Based on specs, expert reviews and owner discussions.
Performance1.8
The Dimensity 6020, 4 GB RAM and 5G support can manage communication, browsing and lighter apps. Multitasking and graphics-heavy games are weak areas.
Camera1.4
The 13 MP f/2.2 main camera, 8 MP selfie camera and 1080p30 recording provide only basic imaging. Expect modest detail, limited low-light results and quality loss when zooming.
Display1.4
The 6.56-inch 90Hz LCD offers smoother scrolling than a 60Hz panel, but the 720x1612 resolution looks soft. Peak brightness of 750 nits also makes direct-sunlight use difficult.
Battery2.4
The 5000 mAh battery is adequate for a full day of ordinary use. Charging at 33W is functional but slower than many alternatives around this price.
Value2.1
At ₹23,898, the 128 GB storage and expandable capacity are useful, but the HD+ LCD, 4 GB RAM and basic cameras make the package uncompetitive.

Pros & cons

What’s good
Dependable Battery Capacity

The 5000 mAh battery should comfortably handle a normal day of calls, messaging and browsing. Its 33W charging is adequate for routine top-ups.

Useful Everyday Extras

A microSD card can add up to 1 TB of storage, while the 3.5 mm headphone jack supports wired earphones without an adapter.

Modern 5G Connectivity

Dual-SIM 5G support makes it suitable for current mobile networks. Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.3 cover everyday wireless needs.

What’s not
Soft and Dim Display

The 720x1612 LCD is noticeably less sharp than Full HD alternatives. Its 90Hz refresh rate feels reasonably smooth, but 750 nits peak brightness limits outdoor clarity.

Limited Everyday Performance

The Dimensity 6020 and 4 GB RAM configuration suit calls, browsing and light apps. Heavy multitasking and demanding games will feel constrained.

Very Basic Cameras

The 13 MP f/2.2 main camera and 8 MP selfie camera are intended for simple daylight photos. Video stops at 1080p30, and digital zoom quickly loses detail.

Modest Software Support

Two years of operating-system updates is a relatively short commitment. NFC payments are also unsupported.

As the title suggests, yesterday my father bought a stupid offline market bullsh*t of a phone called Oppo a59 5G. The dealer said it's a 5G phone and it instantly impressed my father.

I said go to the store buy any phone except oppo or vivo (they gave high commission to sellers and had shitty phones in that range)

r/Androidu/LastChancellor

$150 Oppos are even worse (you'll only get outdated crap like the Oppo A59), theyre pretty infamous for not putting a lot of effort on anything below their flagship
