The ZuPick verdict

3.1out of 5

ConsiderBest at battery, weakest at camera.

The realme P4 Lite 5G makes its case with battery life, smooth scrolling and dependable everyday 5G use. It is much less convincing if you care about display sharpness, camera quality or faster charging.

Based on specs, expert reviews and owner discussions.

Performance3.5

It scores about 528,000 on AnTuTu, which is a good result for everyday use in this range. 5G support helps, but the 4 GB to 6 GB memory options and eMMC 5.1 storage keep it closer to basic mid-range performance than fast gaming territory.

Camera1.6

This is a very basic camera setup for the money. The 13 MP main camera with f/2.2 aperture and 1080p video is best kept to simple daylight shots, while the 5 MP selfie camera is only suitable for occasional use.

Display3.0

The 144 Hz refresh rate makes the phone feel smooth in daily use, but the 720x1570 LCD panel is a clear compromise at this price. It is usable and reasonably bright at 700 nits, though not especially sharp or vivid.

Battery4.3

Battery life is the standout here. The 7000 mAh cell is excellent for long days and lighter users may even stretch it much further, though 15W charging is fairly slow for such a large battery.

Value2.8

You are mainly paying for the huge battery and smooth refresh rate. That makes sense for battery-focused buyers, but the HD+ screen, basic cameras and slower storage reduce its overall value against stronger all-rounders.

Pros & cons

What’s good

Huge 7000 mAh battery

The 7000 mAh battery is a major highlight in this price range. It should comfortably last well beyond a full day and suits people who travel, stream or stay on mobile data for long hours.

Smooth 144 Hz display

The 144 Hz screen makes scrolling, app switching and general navigation feel very fluid. It gives the phone a faster feel than many rivals, even if the panel itself is basic.

Reliable everyday 5G performance

It scores about 528,000 on AnTuTu, which is solid for this price. Daily apps, calling, messaging and casual gaming should run smoothly, and 5G support keeps it current.

Useful durability touches

IP64 water resistance and a side fingerprint sensor add practical everyday convenience. These are the kind of features buyers notice over time.

What’s not

Low-resolution screen

The 720x1570 display is noticeably less sharp than Full HD rivals in this range. Text, video and fine details will not look as crisp.

Very basic cameras

The 13 MP rear camera and 5 MP front camera are entry-level for this price. They are fine for simple daylight shots, but detail and low-light quality will be limited.

Slow 15W charging

The battery is very large, but 15W charging is on the slow side. Topping up such a big battery will take patience.

Entry-level storage speed

eMMC 5.1 storage is slower than the UFS storage many rivals offer. App installs, large file transfers and game loading will feel less snappy.
