The ZuPick verdict

3.7out of 5

BuyBest at value, weakest at camera.

The realme NARZO 70X 5G gets the important things right for a budget buyer: a smooth sharp screen, fast charging, 5G and solid everyday speed. The cameras are only average, but the overall package is very competitive for the price.

Based on specs, expert reviews and owner discussions.

Performance4.0

It scores about 404,000 on AnTuTu, which puts it in the reliable everyday category for this price. Apps, calling, browsing and streaming run well, while heavier games are better on medium settings.

Camera2.9

The 50 MP main camera with f/1.8 aperture and autofocus is good enough for clear daylight photos. An 8 MP front camera is basic, and 1080p at 30 fps video keeps this camera experience fairly modest overall.

Display4.0

The 120 Hz display feels smooth in daily use, and the 1080x2400 resolution looks sharp for text and video. Peak brightness of 950 nits is decent outdoors, though the LCD panel is not as rich-looking as AMOLED options.

Battery3.3

The 5000 mAh battery is standard for this price and should comfortably last a full day for most people. 45W charging is the real highlight here, making quick top-ups much faster than many rivals.

Value4.7

At ₹10698, this phone gives you a lot for the money: 5G, 128 GB storage, UFS 2.2, a 120 Hz Full HD display and 45W charging. It is one of the stronger value picks in this range.

Pros & cons

What’s good

Excellent charging speed

45W charging is unusually strong at this price. It makes top-ups quick and is genuinely useful if you are often out and need the phone ready fast.

Smooth sharp display

The 120 Hz screen feels fluid while scrolling, and the 1080x2400 resolution keeps text and video looking crisp. Peak brightness of 950 nits also helps outdoors.

Good everyday performance

It scores about 404,000 on AnTuTu, which is enough for daily apps, streaming and multitasking without much fuss. 5G support also keeps it current for long-term use.

Strong value for money

At this price, you get 5G, 128 GB storage, UFS 2.2 and fast charging in one package. That combination is hard to beat for budget buyers.

Useful extras included

Stereo speakers, a 3.5 mm headphone jack and IP54 splash resistance make the phone easier to live with day to day. These touches add practical value beyond the basics.

What’s not

Average camera setup

The 50 MP main camera is fine for daylight shots, but video tops out at 1080p at 30 fps and low-light results need a steady hand. It is more functional than impressive.

LCD over AMOLED

The screen is sharp and smooth, but it uses an LCD panel. Rivals with AMOLED can offer deeper blacks and a richer look for movies and social media.

Base variant is 4 GB

The 4 GB version is better suited to lighter use. If you keep many apps open or play heavier games, the 6 GB or 8 GB option will feel more comfortable.
