The ZuPick verdict
The realme 16 Pro stands out for battery life, charging and a sharp high-refresh AMOLED display. It is easier to recommend to buyers who prioritise endurance and screen quality than to those chasing top performance or a more complete camera system.

Pros & cons
The 7000 mAh battery is far bigger than most phones in this price range. It should comfortably outlast typical premium rivals, especially for travel, navigation and long video sessions.
80W charging is properly quick for a phone with such a large battery. Getting to 50% in 23 minutes makes the big cell much easier to live with day to day.
The 1272x2772 AMOLED panel is sharper than standard Full HD screens, and the 144 Hz refresh rate makes scrolling and gaming feel especially fluid.
A 50 MP front camera is unusually strong at this price. It is a good fit for video calls, selfies and creators who use the front camera often.
IP68 and IP69 protection is a real premium extra. It adds peace of mind around rain, dust and rougher outdoor use.
NFC is expected at this price, so its absence stands out. That means no tap-to-pay convenience and weaker everyday usability than similarly priced rivals.
You only get the main camera and an 8 MP ultrawide. Rivals with a dedicated zoom lens do a much better job on portraits, stage shots and distant subjects.
It scores about 1.0 million on AnTuTu, which is on the lower side for this price range. It will feel fine in normal use, but it is not a performance leader here.
At this price, cable-only charging is a compromise. Some rivals offer the convenience of dropping the phone on a charger instead of plugging in.
